Hi guys,
Absolutely loved the open beta earlier this year but haven't had the budget to buy the full game since I'm a broke student.
I couldn't wait to get into the free weekend but it seems the game version is region locked to Russia/China since those are the only 2 language options I have, which seems strange considering I'm in the UK. I've tried reinstalling the game, changing my Steam language to Russian and then reverting it to English and also doing them same for Uplay. However nothing I do changes anything language related so I'm a bit stuck.
Does anyone have any potential fixes or is my best bet waiting for a dev hotfix or just learning Russian?

My friend and I have same issue.

My brother and I are in Germany and we have the same issue. Only Russian and Chinese are available as language options.

I was really excited too. After installing I spent like 30 minutes or so getting the graphics completely optimized for my poor 3 year old Laptop. Thanks to the great optimization of the engine I was able to get some pretty good results and upwards of 45 FPS with moderate settings at a lower resolution. Grats to the developer. I then went and started the game. Played two full missions before I noticed the screen borders are a little skewed from the forced resolution switch. Decided to look for that setting and I can't find it anywhere. Only time you are given the option is the first time you open the game? I can't find it anywhere. So I quit the game, open it back up and now I'm stuck in a language I don't understand. What the hell? This is a bummer. I really want to play it too.

UPDATE: Just tried restarting the game now and whilst it starts up in Russian, languages are no longer region locked so I just changed it to English.
