I'd like to start by saying I've been playing this game on and off since launch (on ps4), and also I'm a little drunk right meow. This post is intended for the devs; props to you guys who put so much blood and tears into this game. I really appreciated all the effort YOU (yes, you. The dev reading this) has put in since the launch of this game. Okay, okay.. I'll get to it. Here's my list:
1. Spawn Killing
I bought this game to kill mother f-----s, not to take 2 steps, die, then watch another guy play. Whether its a teammate or opposition who got lucky on peaking out the window, it's kind of a piss off. Also, I'm no internationally trained black ops Lincoln Clay mofo, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't point an armed gun at a friendly... So why is it when I spawn, my crossairs are pointed at a friendly's HEAD?!
Suggested solution: 1) A spawn shield. Either for X amount of time, or until X meters away from the building the attacker is infiltrating. 2) Don't have the starting spawn crossairs point at friendlies. Lots of n00bs reading this like to hold down the trigger during load times for whatever reason.
2. In-Game Clock
Fact: The in-game clock will literally stop at 00:00 if the attacker picks up the hostage.
Also Fact: The in-game clock continues if the defender is smashing the defuser, or if the offender is in the process of planting a defuser.
Suggested solution: Keep the times between game modes consistent. From personal experience, it makes for a more intense match if the clock is stopped due to one tiny little variable hanging in the balance. (ie. the clock says 00:00 as the attacker is taking the hostage and its 1v1. Both players know the stakes). In my opinion, the clock should stop if the defender is destroying the defuser. On another note, the defuse should be able to receive damage from gunfire or a grenade, but maybe you guys have a reason for needing to destroy it by being defenseless and holding the action button.
3. Breach Charge
I've seen more deaths to the person placing it than to people getting breached by it. 'Nuff' said.
Suggested Solution: Breach charge needs to do more offensive damage. I've breached with a guy LITERALLY 2m away from the window and it didn't even phase him.... I still lose sleep over that lol.
4/ Buying weapon attachments in game
I remember being able to purchase weapon attachments in between rounds, now it seems this function has been disabled. It's already too much that attachments have reset with blood orchard, but now I can't even buy a silencer for my pistol without leaving the match I'm in - which sucks if you're a loser like me and have no friends and finally find a good group to play with!
In addition, what's with the "Are you sure you wanna buy this?" being on CANCEL?! So I essentially have to buy that silencer TWICE because the first time I clicked 8 times to buy it just to say NOPE, NOT ACTUALLY SURE LOL
5. Red Tag from cameras
It's frustrating when I tag an offender from a defensive camera, then spectate a fellow teammate (from death) and the marker is gone.
In addition, I believe the red tag marker should be visible during the kill cam (whether the opposition player was tagged or not, ESPECIALLY if they were tagged to the living team). This would put the part of my brain that says "HOW THE F DID HE KNOW I WAS THERE" at ease. Somewhat.
Duck and Cover after throwing drone
Soooo this one is mostly psychosomatic. I haven't noticed a time it actually made a difference during a match, but it's still a nice feeling to duck behind cover 1-2 seconds after throwing a drone. I know this was enabled for the longest time but was recently changed for whatever reason. Either way, still makes for an intense match. Not really a game breaker, more of a peace of mind while I leave my operator on stand by.
...On second though, if what you want is an intense match, then actually don't change it. It's better you can't move while you see your drone fly off to do your bidding. Good job on that change.
Soooooo yeah. Other than that, I really got nothing. Perhaps this post will inspire other people to comment on things. If you're going to comment about something that needs changing, try to think from an object point of view rather than an objective one (ie. I keep getting killed by shotguns so therefore they need nerfing. No. You just suck). Aaaany*****... drunk arkonite is signing off. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this.Especially the devs who work to improve this game. You guys rock.
