Don't get me wrong I hate the defence meta as a berserker but the changes are too much i can live with the changes to parry and gb on attack start up.
anything more than that is just gonna make ps4 more of a gank fest in 4v4 like getting hit with stamina drain from warden raider and cent at the same time then not being able to parry while oos.
Like how are you gonna survive oos state when every attack pauses stamina regen every block pauses regen and every hit pauses regen even dodge pauses regen and no parry, ganking will be way to strong with these changes on ps4. being oos will make fighting all classes feel like fighting cent it will also make some classes really op like cent, raider, warden and any others that have stamina drain and unblockables.
Like to here others thoughts on this please.
Dont worry. First of all the information you apparently stumbled upon now due to a certain mislead thread (pls correct me here if I am wrong here) here are months old were part of a test that is already over. The PTS from back then had a feedback forum section on its own and the devs received plenty of valuable feedback. I took part in the PTS back then and have to say, that the system with the stamina regen stop was so much better than the current system. The stopping was pretty negletable you would not notice it that much at all. The most important change was that you could not be held OOS since stamina damaging attacks would not be able to take anymore what you had already regenerated to get out of the OOS unlike in the current live version of the game (which is a huge part why Centurion and Raider are so powerful). Attacks and actions would only lead to brief pause of that said regen, but would never reset it at all. So you were guaranteed to get out of the OOS state eventually after a very foreseeable time. The OOS state however granted more sever punishment options such as you could use your attack chains to the fullest due to the inability to parry. This topic was highly controversal amongst others. Note that everything was just try something out and every was subject to change. The only thing we got implimented after that PTS was a chip damage increase and a revamp of the revenge system which currently out of order as it seems.
To wrap it up: There is no defensive meta patch yet since they are still working on it and nobody knows what they wanna do in the end and what they come up with. It could be some parts we already saw in the PTS2 or something entirely new. We don't know what they took away from the test other than chip damage and revenge adjustments would be good to go to implement right away. We have to wait and see what is (hopefully finally) soon to be presented and then I guess we might have another PTS before or at the very least one week's notice to share thoughts about released patch notes.
If you seek video material from those days back then I recommend you spliced channel and look for PTS2 videos. Patch notes alone can give an idea, but seeing the changes in action and trying out themselves is most important. The loudest complaints never set foot to try things out and sure I also had my concerns on some notes beforehand but believe me: nothing is eaten as hot as it is cooked. So it went and so we'd best proceed. Just wait a little and see what they really want to change next. There is no point arguing over something that might not even be considered currently at all
