*sarcasm off*
After opening close to 60 Superior Caches, do you know how many full gear sets I have? Zero! Farming so much this week, for what? Nothing. Its cool that I have 9 Striker Masks but 0 Kneepads. Or 8 Sentry Kneepads, but zero Vests.
Only positive thing, in my opinion, is that all 3 gear sets from this week were shi*ty (and last week I was so hyped for Striker) so I wont miss to much. But this 20+ hours I wasted on farming this week could have been much better spent PVP-ing in DZ.
If this happens when gearsets like Nomad, Alpha, Banshee or Predator come, I'll lose my temper totally. But on the other hand, they'll probably be nerfed to the ground too.
I think we all feel that pain a bit. But just know this: other people have grinded harder than you have, opened up over 150 caches and still don't have complete sets.Originally Posted by filip1308 Go to original post
After the event is over, run with a group and let them know what you need to complete them. This isn't a race, I have to keep telling myself that, too.
tbh sentry 6 piece is underwhelming at the moment but I only used it for 1 hvt. striker is cool but my final measure build melts faster. Haven't gotten the last two pieces for reclaimer even tho it's a set I almost never run since aside from GE I run solo. I played with a bunch of different people this week, I think that may be part of the problem (solution)... all that server hooping and being in other people's instances may change drop rates. after the last GE i finished all my classified sets just by doing LZ boss runs at 1 or 2 toons, sometimes 3 toons per night. it also seems if you open more than a few caches at a time you don't get (as much) useless gear.
Well,I'm done. That's it.
The only thing I completed was the cache grab commendation.
I got three unique pieces of each set and a **** ton of backpacks. The one piece I don't want because you need Ninja to combine broken sets.
I seriously offer my condolences to those of you that put in so much more time than I did.
What really sucked is that I had given up early in the week but decided to finally try. So I did 40 challenge missions from last night til this morning. It's about bedtime. lol

I really don't think RNG is all that bad, and yes I was one of the "lucky" players to have 4 full sets (2x Reclaimer) before opening 60 caches. I stopped the credits grind before the weekend, and just focused on Falcon, which was the real grind of this event without a dedicated team.
I don't know the pain of the players that claim to have only gotten 6 or 7 pieces of classified the whole event, because most players that I ran with (friends and pugs) were completely happy with what they'd gotten based on their effort.
When it comes down to it, RNG isn't broken. Players' expectations and the mindset that they deserve the gear with the least amount of effort are what's broken. There seems to be a desire to make all drops guaranteed. That's simply an unrealistic expectation. Just ask some of the Day-1 players.
Of course you don't think it's broken. You opened 60 caches and got full sets. There are people who've opened more than 100 and still don't have a full set.Originally Posted by BlaqVenom Go to original post
That's the problem with random. They should have some way to get the set you wantwhatever that is.
