highlander guard bug ?? | Forums

hi iv just been playing against a highlander and no matter the attack he hit out this full guard.its not a move iv seen or know of.His animation was still but the full guard icons showed and a unblockable icon too and had a big kick back on it.i recorded it but its on my xb1.Just like too know dose any one know what this is ?

That'd be Highlanders Crushing Counterstrike type move, which he can do from all directions. Basically, instead of parrying you, the HL throws out a light attack in the same direction with the parry timing, and it counters your attack completely with an unblockable. This is where you're seeing the all guard and UB symbol. Stop throwing out random heavies against him. :P

Moondyne_MC is correct. Crushing Counterstrike, when performed correctly, will allow him to counter his opponents attack with his own and display the icons you described. It is a move that functions identically to the Warden's own Crushing Counterstrike.
