Nope, no such thing as hidden cars like that. I mean there are the DLC cars, 2 of which are hidden (Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren MP4-12C) unless you buy the Season Pass, but all cars can be bought normally (only exception being the RUF CTR-3 XFinity).Originally Posted by VersaviNL Go to original post
Yeah, this speculation has been going around a lot in the community. Policecars aren't bought fullstock but with a spec, so the fullstocks are probably hidden.Originally Posted by BlackLotusLV Go to original post
Also, the Hotrod and Buggy have no fullstock either.
Well since the developers are pretty much focusing on The Crew 2 now, I would not expect this bug to be fixed since the game has many more problems then just that progression bug.
I remember in the past that there was a story mission (called "The Duel") that was a drag race, but it was removed later. Probably to prevent players from farming on it, but that removed mission might just be causing this bug. This wasn't an issue before Calling All Units but after the Calling All Units update (I think), but it started happening. The update must have bugged out that one story mission so that it's still hidden, but it counts towards the progression.
The mission is still in the game, but only playable once when you play through the story and you will automatically get Gold on it when you win (I did a playthrough on a second account this year).Originally Posted by Driverboi_450 Go to original post
Somehow, I also doubt that the story is the reason the progression gets stuck; I think the progression refers to everything (i.e. cars owned, awards, missions completed, skills completed etc.).
And lastly, when I played on my second account, I tried to get Platinum on every story mission and even got the "The Extra Mile" award.
Awards don't count since I was able to get 100% completion during the early days of The Crew (before Wild Run came) and I only had like 25% of the awards done.Originally Posted by DatWut Go to original post
Edit:
I might be able to calculate out what's causing the progression to be stuck at 98%.
Edit 2:
I've created a Google spreadsheet to calculate all the statistics of the game and the document indeed confirms that vehicles stat causes the completion to be stuck at 98%. So those 23 full stock vehicles that we can't obtain is causing this.
