Collapsing/Folding Stock on the Fly? | Forums

We can adjust zoom levels in applicable sights with the "B" key. Once unlocked, why can't we collapse/fold our stocks on the fly with the "C" key? Nothing breaks my immersion harder than having to fold or unfold my stock in the middle of a firefight via the loadout screen.

Thoughts?

Would be great if it was an option to fold/collapse stocks on the fly or automatically when entering vehicles.

While I always enjoy more options, I'm not sure why you'd collapse/extend stocks when in the middle of a fight rather than before. At minimum, I'd like collapsible stocks to be retracted when stowing away (Weapon swap/riding in vehicle)

Although it's an interesting option, let me share a personal bad experience with collapsable buttstocks. I'm not a very big person, so I tend to put the stock on the 2, 3 position and rest my cheek on that position. Once just to try, I've fully collapsed the stock and went dry. The charging handle went back and almost broke my nose... This is why I don't collapse my stock after adjusting it. Folding stocks may have that advantage.

What does that have to do with a video game? I'm sure my electronic character's nose will never be broken.

It would be nice to have the option to open and close the stock, especially for the buchon weapons that have them folded.

This. Buchon weapons with an equipped suppressor can toggle that attachment, I see no reason the same functionality shouldn't be applied to the stock as well (as applicable, of course). Great point.

That's why you have frags, flashbangs and C4 and a drone with a bomb. And pistols.

Personally I'd like the option of changing the stock but not while ADS. That is annoying.
