When doing mission replays are the tier points supposed to reset?

I've been replaying Libertad & Flor De Oro mission and the tier points halfed every time a played the missions then i moved out the area for a time and went back and the tier points have all reset to 3349!?

They reset as soon as you level down a tier.
Some people (including myself) have experienced a bug where the tier points do not reset after leveling down.

Appreciate you chiming in on this, nopotential. The bug preventing some players from gaining full XP from missions in Tier 1 Mode is continuing to be investigated by the dev team.
