You can't download and install planes for this game (much to my dismay). What Ubi gives is what you get...

Mind you, they give a whole lot.

Fokker aircraft exist to this date, it has been one of the oldest aircraft manufacturers until the mid 90's when the company was declared bankrupted. In the Second world war, our Fokker plant supplied the Dutch army airforce with the Fokker D.XXI A low wing monoplane, with enclosed cockpit and fixed landing gear. THAT one is being modelled by A finnish guy, I think. Finland used the Fokker D.XXI also, with great succes.

Furthermore, Fokker produced the G.1. An aircraft that looks like the P-38 lightning (the P-38 came later ) Armed with eight rifle caliber machine guns concentrated in the nose. It had a crew of two or three and was propelled by two radial engines. This aircraft was intended the same role as the BF-110 and other "Zerst├┬Ârer" types of that age, not purely a fighter.

Furthermore, Fokker Manufactured the T.V wich was used as a bomber, armed with machine guns to cover all sides and the rear and a 20mm cannon in the front. The T.V was also meant as a "Zerst├┬Ârer"

And there where also some ancient Fokker biplane fighters and recoinsance aircraft in service when our five day war started. (wich is called the may day's, because it took place in early may. I know it sounds funny)

If you want to know more about these aircraft, do a google search.

Reading back my previous post, I see the aircraft in my sig. This one also fought in the may-day's. It is the Douglas DB8A-3N, an export version of the Douglas A-17 attack aircraft. It was meant as a light bomber/tactical aircraft but, they where so new and fresh, the bombs where still left in America... So, they where used as fighters instead. Needless to say this wasn't a succes. Most of them where destroyed by the luftwaffe on the first day.
