Dear Ubisoft,
Since your most recent update, I have not been able to connect to other players. It gave me the opportunity to finally finish the story mode (meaning I do have a connection with the server), however I'd like to go back to playing multiplayer. So please, fix this problem. I've read that others experience this issue too. When I play a tournament, it justgives an error when trying to start the match with the opponent (indicating it is searching for 4 other players and something else).. Can't play any of the other multiplayer modes either.. FIX IT!
Kind regards,
I want compensation.
Hello Warriors! There have been many recent updates to the game and it is always good to check your connection just to be sure your connection is still configured to settings that are optimal for running For Honor specifically. Reference these links to look into connection settings that are unique to For Honor for all platforms as follows: PC, PS4, and XBOX One. Do your best to get your connection as close to the suggested settings as possible, and if you need assistance with port forwarding, please contact your Internet Service Provider. If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, please reach out to our technical support team so that this can be investigated further. Upon contacting technical support, please provide as much information about what you're experiencing as possible, and include any error messages you're receiving when you try to connect.
It's not me.. it's you really.. Look into this reddit thread:

and other threads on the forum with similar problems..
Since this patch I am also having issues on Xbox One. I am good with all my port forwarding, I am connected via Ethernet cable, I have fiber, and I have no issues with Rainbow Six. I believe this is a For Honor issue. I was fine pre-patch, now it seems to be back to the way things were (although a little better) a few patches ago when the community was getting dropped from games constantly. I get a message every so often that says the connection with the session has been lost (0006000137). This not only happens at the beginning of games, but sometimes at the end which is even more frustrating. I know you all are working on it, but I hate to see this game go backwards when it appeared as if connection issues were incrementally better. Thanks.
Yes, the last patch did screw the connection, for sure.
My friend has this issue, he can't connect to anyone ingame, me included.
He has green nat, firewall off, no anti-virus he's DMZ host.
This problem occured after last patch.. before we could play together just fine.
I'm out of ideas what is the cause of this..
He did try multiple network providers and none does work.
He has over 60 FPS ingame.. so it shouldn't block him because of low FPS I guess.
I dont understand how DMZ host with green nat can't connect to anyone ingame.
Matchmaking just lasts forever, and when I invite him he gets an error "unable to join the group".
Ubisoft please fix Your last patch. You did fck-up sth pretty bad.
Thank You.
BTW.. we are PC players.
I've been experiencing the exact same problems. My NAT type is open, my download speed is a steady 48mb/s, yet I can't even finish a game because as the game approaches the end, someone leaves, the connection dips and everyone, I MEAN EVERYONE gets kicked. I know this because I have received numerous messages from people who were in the game, telling me the connection kicked them, or when I queue and find another game, 4 or 5 of the players I was in the game with are in this new one. This is an issue with your game, not anyone's connection. It's your game. This is what happens when you make a game prodominantly intended for multiplayer, but make it peer-to-peer connection. How about you invest some of that money into setting up dedicated servers? You've put them on Rainbow Six, so why haven't you done so on For Honor? It's a joke. I have just been kicked from seven games in a row because of your game. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but if you aren't willing to invest a bit more money in setting up dedicated servers (which would fix about 90% of the issues the multiplayer has), then how can you expect people to want to come back and play some more? It really doesn't surprise me that so many of the ganme's fanbase have just been quitting the game outright. It's because you don't care about the game, nor it's fanbase. You only seem to care about making more money off of the micro-transactions.
Also, please stop deceiving gamers. Every game you've released over the past 8-9 years, you have shown a version of the game that is specifically tailored to "wow" people, and then when the game is actually released, the graphics are bland in comparison, the gameplay is sub-standard and from what I've seen, too many people are becoming disillusioned by these deceptions. The fact of the matter is that you have been graphically enhancing games for your E3 showcase, and then when the game is released, it looks like what we would expect the Alpha to look like. Stop lying to and ignoring your fans. They won't remain fans for long if you continue. For example, I used to love the Assassin's Creed franchise and the Far Cry franchise. But your deceptive attitude to creating these games put me off. Honestly, the only games you haven't deceived the gaming community about was For Honor and Watch Dogs 2 (the first one was a joke by the way).
I sincerely hope that you take what I've said into consideration, as in all seriousness, you're running out of options. Actually fix your games (as Siege now has more bugs and glitches than it did before Operation Health (the 2 - 3 month period where you were supposedly going to be "fixing and repairing" the game)).
Yours sincerely,
The Homagifier
I simply wont connect to any form of multiplayer game, i will search and wait in matchmaking as it searches for 10+ minutes, and this is no exaggeration, and it still will find nothing, connect to nothing, and make zero progress, even after widening its own parameters to the max.
