    Fantastic Patch!

Everything seems to work and register so much smoother on PS4 now.
As an assassin (Orochi), my reflex blocking / parrys are working much smoother now.

I love the added features in the options menu.
Sprint automatically canceling lock mode is awesome.
And the clear new items option finally cleared out my bugged notifications.

I read the patch notes and so how much stuff you guys did too.
Thanks for all the hard work Ubisoft.

This was a fantastic version update.

    Speak for yourself, please.

Strange lagging after the patch, inputs which don't register (never had such problems BEFORE the patch), and worst of all, a not working zone at all with a heavy input instead (thanks for ruining the game on the console coming, as usual, from PC), it's just seems pure luck now to actually get a working zone. Everything on PS4.

Might actually take a break as the game really is unplayable atm (for me, anyway),

Oh, I thought I was speaking for me, thank you.

But looking back on the forums today I'm seeing a lot of people having the opposite effect and I have one long shot of a theory as to why.

Before the patch, as Orochi, my blocks and parries were inconsistent as hell, and was that way since two previous patches before it.
I was playing on my straight wired 180 mbps connection at home.

I had to stay at a friends house for 9 days while my flooring was being redone, before this last patch and play on wifii down at like 35 mbps.
And I actually had much improvement in that issue.

Then I get home back to my straight wired connection 180 mbps and installed the new patch, and first time out it was all working fantastic for me.

Could it be that the "lag improvements" of this patch are now benefiting the faster connection where as before the game was benefiting the slower connection.

That was my exact experience from going on a slower connection with wifii and back to a faster connection straight wired.

I honestly don't know if that's the problem here, but tell us your speed here everyone, and if you are straight wired by ethernet cord or on wifii, and how this patch is working for you?

I do have the zone issue as well though going on of course.

So, if it's a connection speed issue then, wouldn't bringing back timesnaps be the best thing to do to make it fair for all players?
I saw a poll on here a while back asking people if they thought the game was smoother before or after timesnap removal, and the results were overwhelmingly in favor of timesnaps.
