Please don’t let the game die

    To whom it may concern,
    Wildlands...
Do you guys realize what you have created? You have addressed the wish of every tactical shooter enthusiast. We played open world games and tactical games all the while wishing the two would someday merge.

But you are letting that die! Not even one calendar year from it's release, it is dying out. The question is why? The answer is simple.

Tactical shooters are all about authenticity and emersion into the game. We are a community that want our player to symbolize who we are and then put him/her into a challenging world. Your game had promise to deliver that. Then comes the disconnect.
The missions are bland and easy, you can literally hover with a helo and complete most from the air. You need to understand while this is fun to do we also want it to last longer than 30 seconds. You have tons of missions but most offer not replay value or prolonged conflict. Put us in a damn gunfight. Make missions more memorable to us then just another way to farm tier points.

Somewhere amidst the miles of Ethernet cables, high end computers, and abstract wall art, must be a leadership hierarchy with a vision to see this game succeed. You guys are on the brink of rising into fame or tainting your franchise forever. Read your forums from end users and make the change. Everyone was content with candles until someone mentioned the light bulb. That's your job right? To entertain by innovation? To give us the experience we want?

Don't give the same mission with different "parameters" like you do in the challenges. Don't say they game won't allow it, you put a damn witch hunt in a game based off Tier 1 Operators. While I'm on that topic why is the only vest options a 5.11 tac tec and iba (those are the most outdated pos carriers ever).

    Campaign and pvp
    Game play
    -more guns
    -tougher and more technical mission
(Assault through a compound eliminate an entourage at close range and extract hvt)
-mission should offer kill or capture options
-more character vest options (or at least make the one on the assassins creed available, honestly that can't be hard)
-ghillies should hinder enemy ability to detect
-have horde mode areas around the map
(Some require you hold one spot with progressive waves, other areas require a bounding back from checkpoint to check point until the LZ is reached (more in this below)

    Pvp
-more restrictions on number of drones or make the drone operator have to tag the locations manually
    -more players
-have a feature to have 3-4 diff groups after 1 objective (or have a unidad AI force in the area)
-longer matches with respawns but they are based off a ticket count
    -more guns
    -no bottle necked maps
-have some harder maps with a civilian populace that have an adverse effect when they are killed
    -urban venues

Horde mode. Most players attempt to do this on there own by picking a fight with unidad so it would def have some serious interest

    Stationary and extraction types

Stationary-similar to missions that you have to protect the beacon for mortar skill points
Upon activation the player has a time frame to prep for the assault
Give him a local option of activating a beacon that continues to pulse enemy, or a resupply option, or a reinforcement option. The player has to decide what is best based on his play style

    Horde extraction
    Large scale venue
-activation prompts a large scale assault by enemy faction
-you must peel back to a check point and defend until the time expires then another check point pops up that you must pull back to clear the enemy, repel the advancing forces, and on to the next. Throw a Sam or two in that if they destroy them amidst the firefight it opens a gunship support option.
-you fight, bound back, secure, repeat until you reach the LZ. Each wave progresses in troop numbers.

I hope you guys read this and the other posts by your consumers. You guys have the potential to revolutionize tactical shooters, the question is are you going to do something with it or let it wither and die. We have looked forward to this game for a while and I would hope you don't let us down.

    Sincerely Trigger-hoot

A very well thought out, insightful, and constructive post, Trigger. These requests and suggestions for both PvP and the base game are much appreciated and will be getting shared along to the dev team for consideration. Also, I can confirm that we will continue to update both modes (base and PvP) following the release of Ghost War.

Hi Ubi-Index. Thanks for confirming that you guys will be updating the Base and PVP after the release of Ghost War

I am a PvE player and there is a lot of potential for the Base mode that I feel could accomplished. It is refreshing to hear that you guys won't let the game die. We all look forward to seeing these new updates.
