●I think that grinding missions to get an exotic should not take so long.
●i recently became friends with a division player and he tells me that he still has not gotten an mdr after grinding that mission so many time already.
●I know that those that had gotten lucky already whould not want this to change. However, I feel that all items in the game should be obtainable by every single player.
●let every player enjoy the content they pay for.
●I am not saying that they should get the item with all the correct stats but at least be able to get it.
●naturally, those that have grinded longer should be ahead but the gap should be by how max their builts are.
●if the effort has been put then there should be a reward.
●it would be nice if after doing a mission 10 times they whould get an exotic item. That amount can be change depending on the missions difficulty.
●this could also be done for every other activities in the game from open world bosses, underground, dz etc.
Why don't you just run Heroic Incursions and Legendary Missions once per week? You'll get up to 28 guaranteed Exotic caches per week for completing them.Originally Posted by job7villa
There is a vendor who sells exotic weapons which can be bought by spending Phoenix Credits. His arsenal changes weekly. On top of that see the statement above.Originally Posted by job7villa
Seems to be the personal misfortune of an individual player. Keep in mind the game's longevity highly depends on RNG. Due to various updates, the game became more and more generous with the acquisition of endgame gear.Originally Posted by job7villa
Every player already has the equal ability to obtain all items. How many more changes do you want? We already have Global Events which floods our inventory and stash with lots of loot.Originally Posted by job7villa
This appears to be a get-out-of-jail-free card argument of yours but the reality you'll have to face is: Every player can enjoy the same content.Originally Posted by job7villa
We could agree that some activities are locked behind certain requirements e.g. Gear Score or the ability to aim to some degree when we talk about content.
As mentioned earlier: This game heavily depends on RNG but to ease the "pain" there is a vendor who sells Exotic weapons :)Originally Posted by job7villa
That's what currently happens. For the most time players complaining that they haven't received a certain item but that's what keeps them playing.Originally Posted by job7villa
The game already rewards the player for the appropriate effort.Originally Posted by job7villa
Let's be honest: Should players be rewarded by grinding the same missions over and over with minimal effort?
Not to mention that players already get rewarded by grinding challenge mode missions which can be done within several minutes.
We have Heroic Incursions and Legendary missions for that. And the amount of weekly Exotic caches is already very generous.Originally Posted by job7villa
I think I have answered this thought process somewhere above.Originally Posted by job7villa
To cut a long story short: You want to get Exotic weapons guaranteed after clearing / killing 10 missions / world bosses which are little to noone challenging?
Getting rewarded for doing next to nothing would be very counterproductive in a game which longevity is based on RNG and clearing content on the highest difficulty.
If you want shortcut why don't you just head over to the Dark Zone, kill other players and get their loot once you've managed to extract it?
While reading through your requests it appears that you don't understand what the endgame is based upon but I guess since I've tried to give feedback on each "request/argument" you should be now be able to see the whole picture behind the game.
The vendor can be found in the Terminal. It's the Special Equipment Vendor.Originally Posted by job7villa Go to original post
I kinda wish we could stop these threads. What's good for the player, isn't always good for the game.
Giving players everything they want is not the way that any good game works. The way it works is keeping that carrot just out of reach, but close enough to SEEM possible.
Now, if you eat that carrot, there's no more carrot. Massive then has to add an apple, a beet or a yellow carrot instead of an orange one.
What keeps players logging in is the hope of "one day". Right now, that "one day" usually ends with loot.
