30 fps is perfect or games like this, I'll be locking it to 30 fps.

    Hi hkkane2012

    I have an i7 6700
    16GB ddr4 @3000Mhz
    and a gtx 1070

and I will be playing it locked at 30 fps (possibly 45 fps) games like AC don't need 60 fps, it's not a flying or racing game or an mmo shooter than needs a lot of fps.

I never "max" out settings... ultra settings are often ugly and very dark. They are just designed by Nvidia/ AMD to be so demanding that we feel we need to upgrade from an already great gpu when we do not. People on this forum were complaining about getting 45 fps in a game but when they changed the anti aliasing they got over 100 fps and could not even notice the difference to the graphics.

You have a good pc The cpu is nearer to the recommended than minimum and the 970 is a great gpu (I had one and loved it) if you can let go of the peer pressure to "max" the settings and start with everything high and adjust things up and down until it looks good for you (not good for nvidia) you will always get a great looking game and great performance.

Assassin's Creed Origins: No current SLI support? :(

    Hi Guys,

Just been trying to track down online whether this is really the case that there is no current SLI support.

From reading the specs FAQ post on the forum, it states that there is no current SLI/Crossfire support, but 'might' come in a later update.

No going to lie, this makes me sad. Seeing though all the other games that have come before have SLI support

In most cases, SLI doesn’t actually improve performance that much, and if the devs don’t aim for it properly, performance can sometimes be worse. I actually think devs are starting to faze out SLI support all together, I saw a vid about it on youtube a week or two ago, on NCIX tech tips YT channel.

Alright guys. Tell me, a dude who has absolutely no idea, why you only need to know the system requirements if you play on PC. What about consoles?

Console specs are fixed, they don’t change from machine to machine. PCs are of course, more random, with lots of difference hardware configurations.
