I use a software called Playclaw for a game overlay and recording. As the game uses EasyAntiCheat, it requires whitelisting to be activated in-game. The newest versions are whitelisted by EAC as of right now, but For Honor is still running on a version from July! So any whitelisted software post-July has yet to be added to the whitelist for For Honor (And Watch Dogs 2, and R6Siege...) which is rather terrible for anyone who wishes to use this software to record with or any of the other software in need of a whitelist. Really, I'm just sad I can't record gameplay with the most recent playclaw version as the light performance impact is better than OBS.
So can we please get more frequent updates to EAC on For Honor? It'd be a huge boon to those of us who use external software.
I'll send this over to the team and see if we can get some updates for it. Thanks for posting the issue.
Update: Just an update to this. The version itself doesn't actually determine the whitelisted software. It's updated separately. There should also be an update to that list pretty soon with playclaw included. I don't have a set date, but keep a look out for that over the next week. I'll update you with any new info I get.
