We have another week, we have another Den and I am running out of ways to flavour these up lol. Haven't seen any info dump from Eric, obviously we had the patch notes last week so it is a matter of seeing what they have for us.

For new content, unless anyone recognises the downpour effect, I believe that is what we get this week.

One bit of news we know from the announcements is that all platforms receive the patch today,PS4 users already have it due to a misconfiguration of the release timing, other platforms will have it at 1pm eastern,so an hour after the Den starts, there will be 45 minutes downtime.

And we are live,going to be a shorter show today.

A few known issues they want to share. Peackeeper dashing thrust does not connect after two stabs and throw to the ground. Centurion, moveset notes still say the kick stuns. kensei can activate revenge during out of lock dodge roll. They are separating duel and brawl matchmaking,a side effectof that is the way they show stats in the her so faceoff screen, it is only showing duel currently. In the patch there is an option to clear new flag for everything, which works, but the issue with that is the game currently needs to be reset before they clear, this will be fixed.

Weekend event, brawl with no revenge. On top of this, global order for winning brawl matches.

New content is indeed downpour.

Luc announced a PC 4v4 tournament that will culminate in the season 4 live launch which will, be in Montreal. There are 16 teams that will be involved in this.

They are doing the brawl event because revenge in brawl has been asked by players before, it could go live if the feedback suggests it is wanted.

They were asks how they decide who needs nerfing and buffing. There are multiple things they look at,community feedback,their own gut feeling, they have Discord with the people who participate in the workshops and they have data. They look at these in duel and 4v4 on all platforms. In terms of how they plan to balance heroes, some heroes need more work and animations, that is work in progress.

People get kicked for having low fps because a low frame rate impacts the whole match for that person and for everyone else.

Someone asked for easy anti cheat updates, they asked the poster in question to send specific details over what third party programs are being used.

Why hasn't Kensei had a buff yet? There are a lot of kensei issues, they have tried to buff him a few times with damage and options, he is one of those that they are working on in terms of reworks, new animations etc. There is a lot of work behind animations and mo-cap that all involve people being in a room for hours at a time. Eric wants to work on a video or blog going into this stuff.

Any news for nobushi compensation after today's patch fixed certain unlock bugs? Not currently, they will have to wait to see how things go, at a certain skill level she was winning most of the tournaments with those bugs

Why isn't revenge deactivated in 1v1 situations? because it is on in all 4v4 games,most of it comes from outsidie forces like others attacking and trying guardbreaks so it shouldn't activate in a 1v1 but bear in mind that you might be taking on someone who just came out of another fight.

There was a question asking if they had considered constantly refreshing contract orders, it is the way it is right now to manage the progression of the players, they don't want to increase the gap between people who play more per day. they don't think it is in a perfect state, they have ideas, nothing to share yet.

Pretty much, though the dominions in the last two events were far more interesting than the 1v1 fights which hopefully we won't have ten hours of this time. I can guess there will be cheese of some sort and I very much hope it doesn't turn into who can get the best murderball, but having to play the objective might lessen the cheese some.

Or here is hoping in any case.

If I recall, they already picked the captains, most people who were at the last tournament, and those captains pick their own teams. So it is a good deal less open than the last one and it is only on PC.

What qualifies as "low framerate"? My FPS stays at around a solid 40 during matches but I know there are players with a constant 60 and even 120 FPS so what is "will be kicked if low framerate" in that context?
