~~~~~SIEGE MODE~~~~~
Remember that one level in the Knight's story mode where you had to protect a giant battering ram thing as your soldiers pushed it along a path toward the enemy gate? What if we made a game-mode out of that?
Here's the way I imagine it.
- Attacking Team (Orange) will have a massive siege engine being pushed by soldiers toward the enemy gate.
- More Attack Soldiers will follow the engine to help defend it from attack, and to replace fallen pushers if needed.
- Defending Heroes and Soldiers (Blue) will continue to throw themselves at the siege engine in an attempt to kill their soldiers and stall the Engine's progress.
- Attacking Team wins if they manage to guide the Siege Engine to the enemy gate before time expires.
- If time expires before the Siege Engine gets to the gate, Defending Team wins.
Maybe we also add catapults defending team can use to attack the Siege Engine as it gets to certain points along the map, and these can be side-objectives for players to focus on. If the defending team is successful in readying and firing the catapult at the right time the Siege Engine will become damaged and halt momentarily for repairs, wasting some of the Attackers' precious time.
I was also thinking if we make these maps very long perhaps a carriage can follow behind the Siege Engine a fair distance away and the Attackers spawn there when they die instead of all the way back at their camp?
~~~~~INFILTRATION MODE~~~~~
This will be another time-limit mode where the defending team wins if the Attackers cannot complete their objective before the timer runs out.

In infiltration mode the battles will take place INSIDE castles and fortresses, and the goal will be for the Attacking Team to capture a point near or at the Defending Team's spawn.

There will be a few other points along the way to the main point, and capturing these provides new respawn points for the attacking team to continue their assault further into the base. These outposts will also spawn waves of Attack Soldiers once captured (instead of Defense Soldiers).

There should be a few traps the defenders can use of course, and Defense Soldiers will spawn at any uncaptured points to defend them and repel intruders.
