I'm still frequently discouraged to use the basis of my character (Orochi deflect punish) against Berserkers. I will interrupt their chain with a deflect. Go for punishment and then take a 45+ damage free hit for them. (Worst one I got was 100 dmg)
The beserker class its somewhat predictable to deflect off their moves once they get going. I hate how I can't deflect in between their Area attack either. I get staggered and take all the hits. Can't even get a parry off if the first one hits me.
I just wish it would only be uninterruptible IF the attack lands.
That's an interesting suggestion to take away hyper armor unless the attack hits, but i think hyper armor and high attack are berserkers only tools other than a deflect. He's built to trade attacks and with all the turtles out there, I don't think he can afford to always connect an attack for hyper armor. My advice would be to just not deflect berserkers. They are built for trading attacks. It's the aggressive nature of berzerker that makes the class. Just use a parry instead to stop him. or save the deflect for his overhead heavy chain finisher.
I dont run into many. So I keep forgetting about it because the deflect is sooo easy to pull off and then the end of the chain just dismantles me. Maybe I should just Hurricane Blast. I dont even know what the damage output is on that with the dodge damage buff.Originally Posted by josephgodfread Go to original post
