Caught this moment showing that whilst Hunted, the enemy AI do not automatically spot you. I often get these moments and the ambient light, noise, your stance and the foliage you are in, do all factor into how easy you are to spot. Other distractions, in this case my co-op team mates, also have an effect.
At 27 to 30 seconds you can hear his footsteps as he runs to my position. I thought that was one of my squad until I looked up.
I recently tried to play the game again and found the AI had not improved a single bit, The mission close to the start where you rescue the old guy from the farm i was at one side of the farm and they found a body so i ran right around the outskirts well out the way right round to the other side where there was a huge cornfield quite a bit away from the farm and i lay prone (no way they could find me right?). 2 guys come up whom i couldnt see just 2 red dots arriving but they came right for me and even though i was prone in a huge **** off cornfield and had ran right around the farm they knew EXACTLY where i was and was spotted while laying prone in a cornfield from 10-20 metres away no problem at all. The AI is just nonsense. I gave the game the benefit of the doubt but soon nearly the exact same scenario happened on the steal the car mission which just made me turn the game off. Horrible AI with zero effort put into it.
Did some poo come out? Seriously though this has happened to me. When not hunted you can get away with it.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
For every 1 fluked video of the Enemy not spotting the player right away or killing the player from a distance like the one posted, I am betting there could be 9 (if not more found) showing the total opposite. I don't know whether you made the video as a hoax or a joke or if you are really being honest to show this does not happen but I will assume it was a blooper moment![]()
Do you play this game?Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
A couple of days ago, my friend Nic and I were just doing some co-op shenanigans in order to practice for an upcoming video series. A very similar situation happened to us at about the 30 second mark in the video above. Somehow an Unidad base caught sight of us and so Nic and I jumped into some bushes. An entire Unidad squad came over, looked around for a long time, and eventually returned to their posts. Very scary and very reminiscent of what could happen in OGR.
I have been vociferous yes, you are calling it negative but in the end, all I am looking for is for a Proper Shooter (heck, not even a tactical shooter) and this is not even close to being a shooter with all the mediocre coding of the gameplay... if we don't insist on them doing a proper job, what we are going to get next time is a beautiful world and a whole bunch of vehicles driving around.Originally Posted by ROWEMEISTER Go to original post
But even if I wasn't playing the game... does it matter? does my statement has no value because of it? or have you not seeing all the complaints about the cheesy AI and enemies.
If they are do working on it even if they said they were not going to, well... hell, color me giddy.
@Dan... did that happened when your were in "Hunted" mode?
