    The fleeing strat

One of the most frustrating things (number one being revenge in 1v1s) in For Honor is when you destroy someone, they have one bar left, then they run like the little ***** they are, and you can't catch up to them because they are (ALWAYS) playing Orochi, Peacekeeper, or Shinobi and you are playing Conqueror or any not-assassin.

Wouldn't it be possible to solve this problem by inputting a mechanic in every game mode where the less health you have, the slower your running speed? As I said, if you completely overpower your opponent and he has one bar left and you're still at full health, even a Shugoki should be able to catch up to a Peacekeeper. It's just frustrating to have the win in the bag but can't get it because your opponent either flees and you can't catch up or they start stalling so they can gank you because they know they can't win in a 1v1.

Duel changes are coming with an anti run-away system + the player with the most health left wins.

Yeah, this is everywhere in Dominion. Orochis are the worst.

Shinobis just never get close in the first place. >_>

I play Orochi, and I do run. This is a topic where I must say.... Git Gud. As much as I hate it. You should be pinning Orochi in the corner. If you play him in an open field its your own fault for letting your prey get away.

Plus if anything. Running for your life. You should run faster at low health not slower lol.

It is annoying when players run away, but it's a completely valid tactic.
There is no Honor in death, and if running away means you could get health back and win the fight go for it.

If I'm full health and the other runs because he's at one bar, doesn't that mean I done Git Gud and he didn't? And there's no way an Orochi will just follow me into a corner precisely because he knows that he won't be able to run. He's just gonna stand still and wait until I get close and just top lights > zone attack spam like the rest of them.

And as for running for your life. When you lost half your blood and got an artery open in your leg or if your shins are broken, you would run a lot slower, not faster.

Or they could just bring gear running speed back and put that perk on the same piece as revenge gain by defense + attack. That way bad players who rely on revenge and fleeing have to choose one or the other. And good players who couldn't care less about revenge have max running speed to catch up to those who run away. Back when the game first came out, I had max running speed precisely so that I could catch up to assassins as Conqueror or other slow runners.

And watch the shinobi run faster than Usain Bolt on steroids. Sprint speed was incredibly unbalanced, so they removed it.

lol ever heard of adrenaline? took 2 hours to noticed I got stabbed in the arm one time. It was the blood dripping from my hand that gave it away.

Howard has a point. Viking beserkers of old would not stop because they had lost an arm aha.
