I donw know if anyone else has this problem but it happens to me a lot.
when you switch the target youre locked on you have to quickly release and li k again from *L2* (even tho im on PC i use a PS4 controller). the problem with this is that i have to release the L2 button all the way before pressing it again, and that takes time and reduces the reaction time in a fight.
cant you do something like what you did with the d-pad and the guard switching dead zone so we dont have to necesarely release the L2 button completely?
release L2 completely exits lock on
quick release and press of L2 half way target switch
you can't change button bindings for a gamepad on pc. at least i haven't been able to. whenever i try, nothing changes. so there are only 2 options if kb/m just arent an option. lock toggle on.... lock toggle off. my suggestion THIS PART IS FOR YOU, DEVS:Originally Posted by Klingentaenz3r Go to original post
allow us to bind a key to target switching that works from guard mode. the delay from the time the guard-mode button is released and lock on is released will not be affected in any way nor any efforts made to remediate unlock tech issues. the biggest plus, you won't have to double-tap or exit guard mode at all to switch targets
**edit**
nevermind on the R3 quote. just found out from scouring reddit, R3 switches targets when lock toggle is on. is this explained anywhere because i've had the game since open beta and never knew this....
yeah. if toggle lock is activated you can use R3 to change targets too and it was there since launch (can't say if this was already an option in open beta). However this might come with a price since until now they have not been able to proberly configurate the sensitivity input for the R3 button. So there is a chance that if you decide to use it you sometimes or perhaps even often switch targets while changing your guard (if you'd use the gamepad layout which binds Guardbreak on R3 you might end up guardbreaking when you intended to parry or block). Here is a thread about that topic: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...9#post12576399).
btw you can bind keys yourself to some degree and it is ridiculous that even a simple thing as a button swap possibility was not provided yet.

It is outright a shame there is simply no support and the work they ordered bluebythe to do after more than half a year was such a letdown when it finally released.
