Do you see now that it isn't that simple. There is no one thing that is fun to everyone, Diffirent people like diffirent things but major game studios only try to entertain the majority (and the majority consists of more and more kids, this is the reason why every game slowly becomes more like cod).
Ok, fair enough, so allow me to take out unrealistic parts of the game:
Wall reinforcments
Side driving and jumping on drones
Blackbeard
Twitch
Jager
Bandit
Blitz
Montagne
Mira
Sledges wall breaches, they're too big.
Barricading doors in 2 seconds
Lesion
Echo
Hibana
Thermite
Ying
And soo much more
While all of these, when scrutinized are unrealistic, with a little bit of suspension of disbelief, they can be conceivable to us.
Older R6 games are realistic, but they also weren't built to be competitive shooters, which rely on balance. The only other game I know that was competitive was Rainbow Six Vegas, and that game was also unrealistic as well.
Balance often means taking away aspects of realism, and for a comp shooter, balance is the most important part of it.
