    This week's community challenge

Happy to see one of my suggestions included. Not sure specific soldiers (heavies) was a good idea - all Unidad soldiers would've been better.

Due to the exceptionally high target it looks like we won't even get close to completing it. I know I said community challenge targets have been too low in the past but this is way at the other end of the spectrum, rather than an appropriate increase. Maybe it's just because less people are participating this week... maybe. 40,000 does seem extreme given that the mortar has a cooldown and you are lucky to catch more than one per strike - again, if the condition was 'all Unidad soldiers' it would help.

Anyway, thanks for implementing suggestions from the community. I have liked the challenges more since Season 3, even if the rewards haven't been that great.

Might also be related to the fact that the patch is a reused reward.

I think the Community Challenges should always tie in with the solo challenges, for example this week a better community challenge would have been "kill 30.000 Unidad Heavies in CQC". That's something we're doing anyways for solo challenge 2 and you're probably going to melee some heavies during challenge 1&3. Meanwhile if you were to use the mortar during any of those challenges you would probably get yourself detected and hurt your chances of completing the challenge meaning that you'd probably have to do the community challenge outside of the regular solo challenges which is imo not worth my time. Especially considering that the reward is only a crappy patch. Maybe more people would be inclined to do this challenge if the reward were a weapon skin(doubt it) or if all unidad troops would count towards completion.

It just doesn't seem well thought through. I'm not saying it's a bad challenge but maybe it would've been better to place it in a different week.

I saw the reward was a tier booster and I didn't even look. Might read it and do it if it sounds fun and challenging.

Tier Boosters have only been for the solo challange lately. The community challenge to which we are refering is for a patch. I don't mind adding patches to my collection, even if most of them or so-so at best.

Yeah, I don't mind working for the patches at all, but if it is a patch that we already have gotten for another challenge then the motivation gets lower...

Got it, thanks for the feedback. I'll pass this on.

Oh my bad. I see your name there! Congrats! You're correct though, 25,000 heavies only is impossible
I send all my Challenge ideas directly to Dominic Butler and Eric Couzian.

That was the problem. 40k kills with a mortar but there were maybe ten heavies in all the bases in the province. I did my duty (Kill all heavies with a mortar, die or reload and repeat) like 12 or 13 times but it was tedious so I gave up, especially when I saw how slowly the bar progressed.

I don't bother with the solo missions because of the booster, but I do the task force and community challenges even though I have the rewards to give positive reinforcement to UBISOFT to keep it up. Maybe they will ditch the booster all together and give us different rewards we haven't had yet.

I don't mind them repeating rewards so someone who might have missed it gets another chance, but they have to space them with new ones.
