Don't worry, this isn't from a cent main or someone who can't fight him. While I agree that the Jab shouldn't wallsplat, I still don't see why the kick doesn't. I mean switching the wall splat to the kick melee from the jab sounds better than just removing wallsplat on jab. Plus it keeps the 'fake' 50/50 setup after an unlockable heavy finisher off the wall instead of just going for a full charged jab to make things more interesting. Anyone got another point of view? If the kick timing intersects with the pin, I guess you can give the pinned guy HA to tank the hit. I don't main cent(only recently started realising how good his jab is after rep 1) so maybe some cent mains can give their opinion?
P.S: cent's heavies desperately need the time stamp back, the second heavy hits about 200-400ms if you simply tap RT twice
It's simply about balance. The majority of the roster can only get wallsplats off of guard breaks, and guard breaks, as we know, are far from a perfect science.
Functionally, Cent is something like a cross between Berserker and Raider. Easy wallspalts on top of his endless arsenal of unblockables, punches, and hyper armour is just excessive.
And to recap the old argument. The problem with Cent was never that he couldn't be beaten. Of course he could. It happens all the time. The problem was he was fcuking annoying to deal with. He was unfairly devastating in ways no other hero comes close to. The pinning, the stam drain, the knock down...anything less than full health and even a Lawbringer will be killed outright if guard broken.
In a word, Centurion was ridiculous. A wet-dream simulator; not competitive or reasonable.
