I just downloaded the app yesterday and the sound work when I started the game but stopped when I got into gameplay. I'm using an iPhone 7 plus.

I don’t have sound either. I’m on an iPhone 5s.

So, it turned out I had the soft mute on the side of my phone flipped on. It’s never stopped audio on YouTube, chrome, or any other apps, so I didn’t even realize it. Maybe that’s what happened for you guys too?
