Dear designer team & community,
I would like to see a simple "mission editor" for the campaign / TIER mode .
- when you have played the story/ campaign, the game is OVER and just your imagination could keep the game alive.
Therefore I really would appreciate a mission editor ( solo / coop mode ) , which allows to create simple tasks to go for .
- set a target ( e.g. capture a vehicle, kill a special person etc. )
- set some enemies around and give them a task ( patrol route, watching / guarding certain points etc. )
--> well , the option to create "patrol routs" and special enemy behaviour is mandatory, of course !
- some trigger for certain action etc.
The option to share the created missions would be nice ...
At least, a mission editior could keep the game for solo/ coop player attractive.
- other games have given examples ( Operation Flashpoint for example )
What do you think ?

An actual editor would be nice, I'm not sure if we would ever see something that complex in a title like GRW though. ....although a mission generator with perhaps some selectable parameters might be something they can do. Several of us have been asking for that very thing for a while now.
I remember the old Flashpoint days since the title launch. Setting up waypoints for patrols, guards and essentially "if, then, else" logic for engagements. Although you knew how you programmed the AI and where they were to go, you could never really be sure once you got there if it was complex enough. .....fun stuff.
i totally 100% agree. Do you guys remember Infamous 2? it had this EXACT concept in it and it kept the longevity of that game way past its campaign. i think this would be an incredible move for Ubisoft to implement into GRW. In Infamous 2 you could create every last detail of a mission, i wouldnt expect something that intricate (Though id LOVE it) in GRW but i think it would be a great move if Ubisoft wanted to extend the life of its Campaign mode. just give us the access to make missions and even have competitions to see who can create the best missions. then give us the ability to try other peoples missions they have set. Mission editor is a 10/10 must have for me.

Thank you very much for suggestions !
The Wildlands scenery is outstanding , so much work - would be a real shame to waste that scenery.
- any kind of mission generator / editor would be fine
- and it could be a DLC ?
--> 5 - 10 € could that be a reasonable price ?
If the publisher has got the chance for any profit, that could be another reason for efforts to create a mission generator / editor ...
cross the fingers !

thank you for acknowledging the interests of the community. i think adding some sort of mission editor would be a great move for you guys. it helps both the community and ubisoft i think. the game would grow in popularity because of the freedom to create missions but it would help the players stick around longer as the community would then being making its own missions out of their own creativity. adding the ability to maybe make some characters have text dialogue (Obviously it wouldn't all be voice acted.) then be able to go on a mission. me and a friend of mine on youtube make videos together that're cinematic style GRW videos, and honestly i have so much fun creating my own scenarios and playing them out.
Here's a video we made.

imagine if we could make full missions for people to do. it would be amazing, and on top of that Ubisoft wouldnt hardly have to worry about making new DLC's like Fallen Ghosts or Narco because the community would be making missions and story modes like those all the time. even making it a dlc to get the editor wouldnt be bad either, i just dont think it should be expensive. i hope this helps and Ubisoft is able to add something like this at some point.

I doubt we will see a mission editor/creator. Which is a shame as it would add longevity to the games life and probably bring more people to the title, them knowing the mission options will be endless. Be able to save and share our creations with the community something like Trails Fusion setup for courses. Have a box on the right side of the mega map showing currently downloaded custom missions for the province you have your cursor over with an option to jump into the 'map store' to see other creations that are being shared for the province.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
