Ghost Recon has always felt like Ghost Recon Because...
The most wonderful thing about the Ghost Recon series is that it has always felt like a true simulation of military combat and warefare. What I have always loved about Ghost Recon was the realism, the tracers, the fact that you can go through bushes and forest for what seems like hours without making contact with enemies, the fact that your positioning is so important to the overall gun fight, to the fact that cover was so important and patience, the fact that at times you have to communicate with your team where you are, and waiting for enemies to come. I feel that in general, Wildlands has done an excellent job to be true to the authentic experience of Ghost Recon. The single player has been unbelievable. I am excited now to see where we can go with the online experience. In all honesty the Beta experience was a little confusing, and I couldn't make any lasting relationships with anyone online, to exert the sort of tactical game play that is needed in this game. I think that if developers genuinely chose to go 4 vs 4 then kudos to them and no harm done. The game is solid and will be fun. Cheers.
