Hi community,
in 5 months we are able to give Ubisoft our hard earned Money for this masterpiece.
I am wondering now, what will be the mystical part in FAR CRY 5. Far Cry 4 had Shangri-La, Far cry 3 had these Rakyat tribal missions....
What the hell can we expect in FAR CRY 5.![]()
Maybe slaughtering some demons in hell?
Well they had Reggie & Yogi in FC4 will they return somewhere in the Story or will Hurk or have they moved on, could Edens Gate even be delusional and whacked out of their minds on LSD or something.
Look up Captagon
ISIS fighters have been using a drug called Captagon, dubbed "chemical courage", to stay alert in battle.
Would it be Far Cry if it never had some kind of side quest attached to something crazy.
I think it would, in fact I think it'd be a better Far Cry for not having some wack-a-doo mystical element. Shangri-La was the worst part of FC4.Originally Posted by Fallen-Champ Go to original post
Mystical part is very important feature of FarCry! Developers, never underestimate it! Try to make it even more deeper! Without mysticism FarCry will lose much! Without mysticism FarCry will dry up! You can add even some horror elements in mystical scenes.....Why not?! The more emotions gamers experience during the game - the better for the game itself! (all kind of emotions, even sexual arousal) And emotion of Fear is one of the most important. That's why good horrors are so popular. Many games don't give you emotions at all........but good horror give you emotion of fear! M..ystical part of FarCry should be like a "game in the game".....something special, something unexpectedly new for a gamer....he must feel as he suddenly plunged into another game....surrealism. It can be something very beautiful, for example... Some imaginary Heaven on the sky - Paradise in Heaven.....and Hell under the Earth. It seems, in Farcry5, mystical scenes should be closer to christian believements.
Here as well, however I thought FC4's " Shangri-La" to be right in with the general story line.Originally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
Another sort of loose "justification" for some mysticism in the game could be a native american character sending you on some peyote induced vision quest or some such, honestly a bit more believable than UFOs, but still something I'd rather they just ignore, the mystical elements in these games have always been something I felt was tolerable but added little to nothing to the games themselves.
What if one ending of the game is Joseph Seed's prophecy coming to fruition and there is an apocalyptic event which sets up the next spin-off FC in a post-apocalypse wasteland?
You have to remember that the SEED family could be friggin nuts after all they think the world is coming to an end and they really want to save everyone looks like we might have to convert first so they could be a little whacko jacko - Who knows what they smoke and what goes on in their head.
If it was a choice between Reggie and Yogi or Hurk if one was in the game I would go for Hurk because I enjoyed a couple of his missions the others were just going from A to B with music and crazy color where Hurk had us swimming in water and breaking ice - cool level that one.
A lot of peeps are apparantly friggin nutz these days anyway and it doesn't just have to be with the SEED family. My wife told me about some Facebook types who thought the world would end last Saturday. They were thouroughly convinced. Yet that didn't happen. Peyote in MT? However the American Indian thing might be a possibility, although I always thought peyote would be in a desert area which MT doesn't seem to have..but you never know. Could be some sort of mystical event, say perhaps in the NE portion of that state, where they're fracking and gleaning the oil out of the ground? Guess time will tell.
Ok well maybe not peyote but some crazy hash in a peace pipe or something. I dunno, they're so lenient with what drugs will cause hallucinations & all that in these games, what it actually is doesn't matter, I'm just speculating on how they might do some mystical type stuff if they do it (and I'm hoping they don't).
