Since I have a feeling that I'm not alone here, I thought I would reach out.
Every so often my Xbox One wireless controller seems to not recognize which controls I wish to use. This most commonly occurs when I'm in menu screens. A few notable ones are:
- When entering a vehicle instead of driving, the triggers rotate the camera around the car
- holding X somehow opens up the tactical view binoculars
- when attempting to fire a gun the triggers can be unresponsive
- pressing B to crouch instead deploys the drone
These mishaps are sometimes resolved by switching to the keyboard and then back to the controller briefly or by pressing the proper button for the confused action and then attempting again. I don't know if there is a solution for this besides just using the keyboard but I hope someone can offer some advice.

I have similar problems but even worse. At times clicking a button causes the appearance of a calculator box and I have to move the highlight to "DONE" to remove it and, of course, the game continues without me! Any help would be wonderful...
