    Widlands firendly AI holy ****

Gotta say whoever created the idea of this 3 *******s you have with should go to the elementary school again.

I disliked the friendly Ai int he beta, i made a feedback for Ubisoft that they shall fix this bunch off ***tards. They are still the same. Why the hell i get punished for play solo? I know u can say now go TAB and hit the FIRE key. I just say HEY! u cant run while you need to press this ****. When it comes to a firefight (what i rly try to avoid with this idiots) you dont have that time. Mostly i even missclick and order to sit down or bring a vehicle airdrop inn lol

    CON:
-Enemy AI shoots like ******ed on me. My Guys stand 1m next to me and looking around while i get screwed up
-Bastards never return fire until i get rekt or i tell them: TAB --> "pls do somethign pls i beg of u"
-They stand just in my way, getting spotted. I let them 200m behind me - they tp after me and ruin my mission

There are much more things about the friendly AI i wish they die.
Its just a shame that i get literally punished for soloplay. AND NO ***KING WAY i touch Narcoroad again, its torture.
It goes from GTA Bolivia to Bolivia most wanted or somethign loike that, i dont wanna this and i regret that i bought the Gold Edition. I didnt. see that coming..

WELL maybe someone agree with me or i get ****posted - no ****s given ^^ It takes tons of time that i go mad and this point explodes atm. I rly like the game. The only stuff that doesnt work is just the combat. In a shooter.
And one aspect i rly dont get: When i get spotted, why i get pulled out of my drone? It costed me tons of missions, this one ***king option, why does it not exist? You see cleary that an enemy comes torwards you. You go to hi mwith drone. He sees you. Drone gone, you dead.
And my Teammates watching, 1m next to me. WHY. WHY.

Cmon pls complain that i have to use the AI and make them what i want.

I want that they shoot ****ers when they stand inside them. Nothign else. I dont have time to infiltrate the enemy Camps AND babysit my ******* AI friends (i wanna see them deleted especially weaver)

    PRO:
    -They revive lol..
    -Sync Shot
    -Thats it..
-Funny dialogues i luv them, but need more

Sry again for getting mad but thats rly a thing it makes my blood boild. Its jsut wasting tons of time, only because the AI needs to be babysitted. It makes me rage after nearly 140h playtime.
    LAST WORD:
DOnt you dare tos ay the game is finished. Maybe the campaign is finished ye. But not the AI

If I'm trying to do something I just make them hold position. Once the fight start I just order them to fire and that's about it and I leave them alone from there. My biggest gripe about them is that they don't position themselves very well off of you and that may be a pretty complex thing to pull off in general. I'm not a game dev so I have no clue how that would work so when a fire fight starts they're in horrible positions.

If you want to play solo, don't give them any orders at all.
You can use sync shot and they can follow you, and as long as you don't access the order wheel (except to "fire" specifically with sync shot), they are as ghosts. Even standing in front of an enemy, they will not be detected unless you order them to do something (like go somewhere, hold, whatever...) this has been my experience. They only ever mess things up when I give them orders (other than sync shot).

Feedback-wise, I could use with some more complex orders, but other than that they serve their purpose semi-adequately for a stealth game. They won't, for instance, melee an enemy right behind me that I haven't spotted but that they're standing right behind, but they will spot it (if your hud is on). They won't engage, even silently, unless I tell them to or they are mimicking my behavior. They won't save my life from an enemy I don't see while in stealth mode, even if they have every reason to do so.

Co-op vs. Solo... there are definite tradeoffs. Reliable Sync shot is invaluable to me in the missions and convoys, and most of the time randoms on the co-op matchmaking absolutely suck and just want to play GTA in Bolivia. (Spoiler: even they don't like Narco Road)

Have to say sorry at all i dont rage normally.
I just dont get it why i cant use "pls AI start shoot" in the water. Why. There are so many stuff what kills the Gameplay instantly. There is no reason to have no options like that. You need tos tand still to say "Fire". Why is that a thing?
I rly regret that i bought the Gold Edition but its too late nao to complain about it.

Just imagine how good that game would be with some improvements in the actual fight.

However i said: When i get surpriced from enemy its mostly game over cos i need find cover, return fire to the closest enemy and press tab --> "Fire" It takes exactly the time i dont have.
And i think its exactly this that they mostly do nothing automaticly espacially on Extreme T1 difficulty where i need fast decisions.

I dont say the game is rly bad or just a big fail. Its only the AI element what rages me.

I could start complain about the vehicle physics, the wtf bulletdrop and much more. But i decided to elt this out. I want just a nice friendly Ai with 0,1% brain of a Soldier

    Oh by the way:
Because of Coop, Wildlands is a complete different Game when you have 2 or 3 Friends to you play. Its just fun thats true.

I suffer with the squad AI as well, I hated when I realized that they really do nothing without a prompt from you or if they come under heavy fire. All those things you say about their actions are true. A worthless bunch of scrubs. Well, I now play them differently. I order them into the firefight before I actually start shooting. I order up some help from the rebels before I get down and dirty. This will help the enemy AI from picking up on me right away. Thing is that when in Tier 1 it seems that no matter what, you are seen and fired on first. You become the focus of the fight upon detection. Oh, and the enemy become the best marksmen on the planet, killing you instantly with their first shots. Like auto-aim hax.

It does gets old to hammered about this but it also does begs the question... if what you are buying is a Shooter Game (forget about the tactical part for a moment) why is it that the Devs were ok with this behavior from eith part of the AI, more so if they consider themselves Gamers. The only explanation is that Single Player was just a check mark they needed to tick to get even more sales as it is clear that PvE is where the most effort was put forth.

But the game is fun so people are ok with the rest and this makes them happy and fuzzy on the inside...

The don't give them orders thing doesn't work either. I will be sneaking in on a base letting them scamper around like little monkeys and all of a sudden one of them will yell "I'm gonna light em up!" and they are in a firefight. The BEST part. The enemy can head shot me from 200m with dual-wield Mac-11s but my specially trained super soldiers can't hit a SB thug at 5m! I don't know how many times I have watched them stand almost next to a guy blazing away with their Mass Effect unlimited ammo guns and not hit him for 10 to 30 seconds. And if you tell them to attack they run off in some random direction for a guy that isn't even close to you. And don't get me started on the Rebel powerups! I don't know how many times I was in thick with Unidad and I called in a Diversion right where I was on the thought that they would help out or called in Hired Guns and had a green group just stand in a corner of my minimap not doing squat. What purpose do they serve. And artillery! Why is the marker so huge and the blast radius so small?! I get seven mortar shells dropped and half the time the majority miss even though all the enemy is in the red highlighted area. Two KIAs out of 9 guys in a 50m circle that is overlapped with seven mortar drops that cover 250m?! It's not like the shell falls randomly inside that marker, they ALWAYS hit in the center. I like this game but the AI is so useless it is beyond useless!

According to some fanbois, if we keep harping on it, we might see changes... I don't even believe it will happen for Wildlands 2 (I am sure there will be a sequel) but it is just as fun reminding them of the mediocre job they did on the gameplay mechanics.

Gotta say i have no problem with a Wildlands 2 when they promise NOT to put in a Narco Road again.. xD
I played it like for 30 Minutes i couldnt proceed. If they dont try again to revive this cripple and work on a nice AI and put something more into the open world i would buy it for sure.
Fallen Ghosts was ok, but not with that AI. Lets say add some Tanks (3 types of a Tank) and a rocket launcher or somethign like that. I remember the old good Ghost Recon days, the first ones. AI did what you said.

But Narco Road.. The only thing i was loving in the DLC was: No firendly AI xD Downside: Drving mechanix and it was even more like a Car-Shooting Simulator and how u can get likes on Facebook lol But thats in other Threads too so i dont need to say that
