Depends on what they implement from the community ideas. If they take what everyone is saying and try to implement it, then no, but a few balance changes shouldn't be difficult to do in a couple weeks. I just hope that whenever they do release it that any major bugs have already been dealt with.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
Unfortunately that would get costly for them to update like that every so often, especially if it requires client side patches. The submission to Sony and Microsoft for console costs money and time.Originally Posted by SpeedyDGuy Go to original post
This Whole debate took place in the first few weeks of Wildlands release too. In that case the Devs claimed all sorts of fixes on the BETA's that had been run. I n truth what happened was the Devs had already completed most of the work , and very little of the feedback was ever implemented. So if they follow that course again , i assume this game is good to go with very few alterations to be made. What we will get is what we always get , Ubi's version. I'm fine with that though , from playing the Ghost War Beta i'm quite happy with it. We will just have to wait and see what extra Modes, classes etc they have decided on.
Oh and 1 last thought, if this game is now in the bargain bin expect an immediate set of purchasable extras for Ghost War. They will want to milk it big time...And probably some expensive all conquering gun , just to F### things up
I was reading another post and it made sense. The Beta PVP seemed to be a pretty finished product. I think the Beta was just to test out the server connections and work out connectivity issues. I'm starting to think our community feedback was something to keep us occupied, but its done.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
Now i cant access this link. I could earlier and watched the video. Cant even find it on their page. Maybe it was an employee oops leaking information lolOriginally Posted by DeadWyre Go to original post
Yeah, I heard it was taken down. Also that Facebook page is Ghost Recon UK, so I don't know how legit that is. The video itself looked pretty compelling and looked like Ubi's work though, so I don't know.Originally Posted by ShadowGOD200 Go to original post
I wasn't even paying attention. This is very important. You're right, it's important they don't wait much longer.Originally Posted by teal03 Go to original post
What? Less than two days after the beta finished and you're into being frustrated because we don't have a date for final release yet?
We know we'd all have liked PvP sooner, but it is what it is and we can't undo that wait. For now though, give them a chance to get their plans together for what to do post beta and into the release.
They might prioritize the feedback from High to Low, and implement some of the fixes and suggestions first.
Then start working on the others after release.
Eg. Smoke Grenades is a much requested item. They might choose to fix game breaking bugs, net-code etc, make sure it's stable before releasing the PvP mode. Then introduce Smoke Grenades later.
At the end of the day we don't know which version of the PvP we played. We might've played a version that's 2-3 weeks old.
I'm just going off by their own leak, which may have had the wrong date. And I'm being hopeful as well![]()
My guess is that they will release the PVP in a state that it was in the beta and add monthly patches. they are doing that with almost every other game (for honor, R6:Siege, The division) so there is no reason why they wouldnt do that here.
they already said they will expand on the PVP as they go with more maps and classes and game modes so obviously they will incorporate balancing and some feedback that makes sense.
just like UBI does in all of their games.
relax.
About WHEN it comes out - i dont know. oct 10th makes kinda sense. not too close not too far.
and since , form what i understand, the PVP can be purchased separately from the campaign , than UBI will treat it like a release of a new game - it will have a few more videos and advertisement and wil be a moderate launch to get ppl to buy it.
