First of all my post does not want dev to change the role become sponge or increase double health
About my experience after the beta, I found that when I met the enemy, I could not react and then was shot dead
If the TTK is too fast you don't have time to react if someone who suddenly fired
What I would like is If TTK can slow a little bit(Of course, can not become a sponge I understand)
which I thought was great as you had plenty of time to react and could still end up winning a gunfight even if someone saw you first but you are the more skilled player. Thoughts?
What? So the player who saw you before u saw them should have to suffer? Nah man, if you didn’t notice the guy u shouldn’t be able to tank them just so u can get a shot off on them. Whats the point of flanking, or sneaking up on someone if they r gonna have time to turn around and shoot you. From my time playing, close quarter battles had a fine ttk. One could argue that if ur the better skilled player you should win the battle if they had the drop on you first.
I must agree, the TTK is too long in most instances, and not all guns are controlling the same as they did in solo, making it worse. But with Ghost Recon, the main premise has always been being patient and choosing your shots, and your shots then being extremely deadly.
@MrStoneCold - right now, in my opinion, the skill part comes into play when someone attempts an engagement but they do not control their shots. The game's recoil and shooting mechanics punish those who do not take their time or control their fire. In those instances you have time to drop to cover and return fire, hopefully winning the battle. Of course, this does mean for medium-long range But any time there is a player who is controlling their shots and is steady while getting the drop on you, you really shouldn't survive.
I must agree that I survived encounters I had no right to
Wow just Wow. I think you should play Destiny 2 as that sounds right up your street.Originally Posted by Mr.StoneCold Go to original post
P.S I have been playing D2 before and after GRW PvP Beta and that has stupidly high TTK. It is not what GR is about.
TTK is too long as it is. ....so much so that if it remains the same in the final release, I can see myself growing tired of GW in short order. Given that they almost immediately announced the release date only two weeks out after the beta, I doubt little (if any) of the feedback many of us provided will be implemented by that date.
I hope I'm wrong. I would like to see at least an option or hardcore mode/difficulty level that adjust these things. .....and this time, I don't think I'm willing to stick around for some future update.
