PUBG has taken over, especially now its coming to xb1.
This game doesn't do much right
The camera position is jacked up.
player count is weak.
gun customization is shallow.
class based games are over rated and over saturated.
The frame rate is trash.
can't decide if its a first or third person shooter.
nothing to keep you interested in the long run.
lack of objectives make game play boring.
just feels trash, I see this going on the route of the free game in market.
These devs are way behind the ball, and just counting on the kids with expendable parent income to buy the game and make sales.
Lets not fool our selves this game is A FLOP.
Harsh? yeah. BUT TRUE. YES
Sorry UBI, but honesty is sometimes the best solution.
So what solution are you looking for here when you say "honesty is sometimes the best solution.Originally Posted by En1gma713 Go to original post
The game and development team definitely deserves it's criticism, 6 months in is a long wait for a PVP game mode.
Boo-f@cking-hoo then.Originally Posted by En1gma713 Go to original post
Go play your early-access game and let the big boys enjoy this tactical masterpiece.
As far as "can't decide if its a first or third person shooter." goes, you can just aim over the shoulder if you dont like aiming down the sights. Personally I like that they added both options.
About your camera complaints, I find it by far superior that the position is on the side of the character because it makes me feel like I'm right there next to him, instead of having the camera on top of him and making him feel like my puppet. Plus, by being on the side, my character's not blocking my line of sight.

(pullback the camera, and centralize it.)
player count is weak.
(8v8 at most any more that that would be overkill)
gun customization is shallow.
(add more options that alter stats on weapons, power, fire rate, range, reload time, add sight and scopes)
class based games are over rated and over saturated.
(really just a bad time for this to be released) No real solution for that one
The frame rate is trash.
(Optimize the game it feels like it caps at 30 fps on console but drops to 10 when turning or in fire fights)
can't decide if its a first or third person shooter.
(make a first person mode only mode, optimize 3rd person mode aiming system)
nothing to keep you interested in the long run.
(make unlocks rewarding and give you a sense of achievement when unlocked)
lack of objectives make game play boring.
(add objectives, like capturing a point to respawn reinforcements, or demolition mode ect ect)
Thats it? That will turn this game from a solid 2 to a strong 8?Originally Posted by SOLIDSOUTHCENTRA Go to original post
Upping the player count will help, but that is just 1 problem out of many.
In an open world PVE game, where everything is half baked, yeah, they should first flesh out, fix and improve PVE< making it a solid experience before going off and half baking a PVP mode....Originally Posted by DeadWyre Go to original post
I would gladly give up rebel support and all the goofy guns, if they could up the player count to 6 or 8 in pve. They could even force players into keeping within 1-2km of each other and make other cuts to help gameplay. As for the PVP side, again, I would gladly live without the class system to get back a classic last man standing match of 8v8 with grenades being the only allowable explosives. Either way, upping the player count on either pvp or pve would be an improvement even though it would not be the only fix they need to implement. From the little I have played pvp, my main gripe is the lack of gun customization, and the limited options for the MutliClass recruit. Personally, I would like to see 2 weapon options for each weapon type, 2 assault rifles, 2 sniper class rifles, 2 LMGs, and then add on any weapons from the other classes available as you unlock them. That way, instead of being out of luck should someone take up that class, you can at least still keep the gun you like and have earned.Originally Posted by SOLIDSOUTHCENTRA Go to original post
