RANT!! Forceful ornaments!!! (No ornament) option is off for some characters..
Raider ornaments.. Are.....horrible. I don't like any of them. But...I can't remove it.
Why? Why? Why make vikings... You obviously don't want to use historically accurate content... You have a sick fascination with modern art, combined with art work indicative of other cultures and peoples.. With the few occassions like the forge...
No bear or wolf furs... No borre knot work OR THE three other knot work periods!!! In norse culture.
Horns arent cool, but in the only occasion it is cool is it really sheds a light to how ignorant one truly is.. But we can let this slide. The continuous bombardment with bird skulls artwork that just a literally let's just go ahead and say the battle outfits or nothing but modern artwork adoration when it comes to the Norseman which is quite frankly completely and utterly disgusting I don't know whose bias it is but it just doesn't feel like even eclectic taste when it comes to the downloadable content again don't believe me look at the Battle outfit area everything there is modern artwork and shapes and that's the one thing I have in common with Hitler I absolutely hate despise modern art work and I guess maybe this is why because when it comes to people liking modern artwork you get bombarded with it no other artist celebrated there's some sort of modern art work Supremacy it's literally taking taking over the battle area outfits for the Vikings so if you're going to make something and you're going to call it and give it labels relevant and even what's more upsetting is how you do so well on the maps that's what really really pisses me off because it's kind of like you're rubbing it in my face that yeah I could put not work just like I put this awesome not work on this poll here on the map I could put that on a viking character but f*** know we're going to put stupid s*** that's completely irrelevant and quite frankly it breaks immersion in the most disgusting way and we're going to keep you addicted to the game looking forward to that one little bit of relevant material to the characters culture and will and every week we're going to keep releasing content that is absolutely deplorable and keep your hopes up that one day you may get a bear fur as an ornament you may get things that are relevant as ornaments but until then we're going to continue making ornaments that are absolutely reminiscent of Marvel's Universe of what they would perceive as Vikings cuz that's what I feel like like the butcher thing you got going on with the Raiders ornament absolutely disgusting it doesn't even look good it just looks like looks like the dude has a bunch of blades on his head it's like who said that was a good idea who signed off on that and said this is a good ornament I really want to know this garbage that everybody has to put up with because we the players make the community and I'm pretty sure I speak with the majority of the people because out of curiosity I've started messaging people and everybody unanimously always say they feel like Ubisoft is out of touch with the creation of the downloadable content with the exception just like the way I feel when it comes to the maps that you made as far as good work is concerned with the confines of what you got to work with I'm not trying to sound like you got a follow a historical accurate linear path because you know that's not fun but instead of trying to do something drastically just off the wall to the point it literally questions the very fact of this even being Vikings are Norsemen anymore or anything to do there within versus some bearded dude who just likes Modern Art and likes to dress and leather because that's what it looks like looks like you said put yourself in the created position of if I lived back then and I had a culture that had these periods of not an artwork how could I create something out of the art that I was exposed to and from there build upon what you really have to work with and you know I see elements of that in the game again it's not like you're failing completely because if you did I still wouldn't be playing the game but it is one thing that I absolutely cannot stress try to be a little bit more accurate and give a little bit of respect to the very name of the character instead of just I feel like you just wanted to put some generic hero stuff in there that's what it looks like this so I can literally see somebody in the office looking at one of these things before it's sent out and distributed over everybody's consoles and him saying oh yeah man that looks badass it's a relevant to the world that it's being put in and quite frankly it's just disgraceful violent tendencies but loves to dress and leather and we're fanciful ornaments that are completely irrelevant to anything in the world that the character is in
anyway my main argument here as well if you're going to continue pumping out trash when it comes to downloadable content with the exception of the new maps again congratulations you did a good job at that is an awesome job those are very accurate I feel as far as the area they are trying to portray even though they are somewhat imaginative it's still very immersive and you could find yourself thinking this could have been a viking establishment or a Norseman area and a and for that like I said you did a good job
Unfortunately when it comes to every other downloadable content you got for the most part with the exception of emotes and a few symbols and a few ornaments down to very specific character like the Berserkers wolf ornament if you're going to continue pumping out irrelevant trash I would at least like the options not have to put this trash on my character
because it's really frustrating and the worst of it is I can see the s*** you do like one of your I think it's the death guard for the Raider ornament yeah I love how you rip that off of a mjolnir showing again that somebody in the office that makes this content pays a little bit of tension somebody in the office someone knows what they're doing or even if it's one person they can do things that are relevant even if you have to twist it a little bit and that's a good example as far as an ornaments concerned it does look very Viking it does look very Norseman even though no ornament like that ever existed it still is appropriate but walrus ornaments like seriously what's wrong here
And yes I do get that this is an imaginary land that's fine but at least try to fit into character even if you're going to put honestly historical fiction scenarios and exaggerated fictional scenarios that's that's still fine but it's just depressing I would have thought by now you guys would have like I don't know said oh maybe we should stop doing crazy things and actually start giving characters downloadable content appropriate for the culture that they are portraying I mean after all they speak their native languages of those characters I mean why bother alright I'm done ranting
