So first, ranked is extremely difficult and knowing the maps is a must especially if your wanting to do well in higher ranks like Gold & Platinum! Operators have there own meta and playstyles, play operators continously to know how they work and what works and doesn't i.e Never roam with Rook or Doc, they both produce high sound while moving which is caused by there heavy armor and genrally the size of the person underneath,they are very stocky operators, below are operators on defence that are Roamers or OBJ Protecters!

I would stay away from ranked matches until you've given enough time to play and feel comfortable, Casual is the best experience to learn new strats and you don't need a team, Play solo and make sure you have a mic and listen and contribute to call outs.
