    Stronghold is "exlporable" with this new idea. (kinda 2 suggestions in one)

    Have you ever wanted to see what the Stronghold of your faction looks like? Well... this idea is for you!

    It's on the stronghold area; when you click on your stronghold instead of an event you get a tab saying "Enter Stronghold." You then spawn in a marketplace of the stronghold's city (it's fairly open). There are also houses you can go inside and you can even visit the park (if strongholds have those). There are deals in the marketplace you can get deals on stuff that are only limited time, or get specific armor/weapon pieces (for a higher cost). And you can find events (like realistic dominion) at a post that has your factions banner. There's also something else you can get at the marketplace...

    (this is the 2nd suggestion thing that fits into the markestplace idea)

    Skins:
    It's different than outfits; it's a skin for a hero of the week (new thing that comes with this marketplace expansion idea). Costs a lot of steel as well! There an be festive skins and other types of skins. Also since it's a skin you cant customize your armor, well you can but it wont show but still give you the armor level and stuff.

    Ex: Raider Knight skin: He wears a sleeveless gambeson and a greathelm, no
    beard. pants that resembles to warden's, and leather gloves.

    WEAPONS DON'T HAVE SKINS!

    I do like the idea of a Social Hub where players could interact with each other out of the battlefield, especially if it's faction orientated. To gather things from the marketplace like skins and maybe even trade steel for new XP orders. Too expand on this, there could be a barracks in the stronghold where players go to find other players from the same faction to group up with. They'd make their groups in the stronghold and then rally forth to fight on the front lines.

    That sounds really good! Can I add a bit onto that?

    You can find other faction players and you can make a clan, Once you join a clan you can get it's colors (custom colors for each created clan). You can also do clan events that your clan and some other clan (different faction) come up on some sort of match and you fight it out.

    A social hub would definitely be amazing, but it's also very difficult to maintain (maybe it could be more feasible with DS).
    As for clans, that's definitely more workable and I think the devs do want to make something like that possible in the nearer future.

    Alright, I didnt state in the thread but this will take place after dedicated servers are implemented.

    Also bout' the skins... I think they would cost about 30,000 steel.

    I also wonder why you didnt cover the skins part. I thought you would be saying by physics this wouldn't work.

    I love the idea of more interactivity instead of the regular ol' school menu we have now.

    But a hub sounds like too much work at this point in For Honor's life cycle. Something more feasible might simply be using parts of existing maps as a single player hub, meaning only you (the player) ever spawn in one.
    Say for example for the Vikings, instead of using the standard menu to navigate, you spawn in as your hero in the great hall in Viking Village, as a closed off instance. There'll be a map table where you deploy your assets and join games. Armor stand for loadouts, marketplace access etc.

    YES! This is what I meant!

    Vikings = Viking village
    Samurai = Temple garden
    Knights = Forge

    (now that I think about it a samurai and knight town map would be cool).

    Skin ideas for HALLOWEEN!
    Knights = Jackolantern
    There is blood everywhere and your eyes light up like a jackolantern. Also a new special metal.

    Normal skins for heroes.
    Knights (savage)
    The knights got fur shoulder-pads, arms show, viking helm, and armor is a bit run down. It was a successful loot for the vikings. They also have beards showing.
    Knight (Myer prowler)
    They got those weird arm-flap things as shoulder-pads, They wear those weird pajamas and some wood (which samurai didn't have).

    Viking (knightly)
    They got a gambeson as a chest armor piece, and they are sleeveless but have semi-plated gloves. They have a great helm and have pants that resembles of a warden's. They have no beard showing.
    Viking (Swampish)
    They got some pajamas and sandals with some wood for their chest. Also that samurai helm.

    Samurai (knightly)
    They got chain mail and chain mail gloves. Also a kettlehelm. They have some wood and cloth on them still.
    Samurai (savage)
    They have a shirt, fur, viking helm, and beard. Wooden arm and hand guards as well.

    All skins are given to each hero of the respected faction.
