Hey Ubisoft just wanted to give some personal feedback on the game's parrying system. IT'S BROKE AS HELL. I'm sick and tired of not being able to throw a single attack because every attack I throw gets parried, even light attacks. Im honestly to the point i hate playing other people online because thats all they do. When you ask them to play fair they cuss you out and tell you to stop whining. I'm begging you guys rework the parrying system. If you guys have the tech to know who's running away from a fight and for how long I know you guys can fix the parrying epidemic that ruining a good game please loom into it
i agree 100% with you, the parry sys has to be nerfed, and they want nerfed...i hope it will come before season 4 because i'm tired of this turtle tatics etc...but i think there is a problem after that change: there are fast lights that is really hard to parry (pk), and if the stamina you remove if you parry then,is the same of a another light with normal speed(rider), we see a new era of lights spam like after the day1. Just because you're terrible at the game, it doesn't give you the right to come here and suggest a stupid idea just to make it easier for you. If people parry your lights, then feint. Its quite hard to parry lights so people deserve a guard break after parrying it. Plus, did you forget about peacekeeper? Clearly you have. So next time you feel enraged about being crap at the game, I want you to breathe slowly, and calm down.
i actually posted several times about this with something that would give both parry and feint a more important role and to stop the parry meta from being so strong and frightening.
a chain is a move in a playlist that has the chain blue icon besides them so every other move beside these are excluded:
Make it so that the only parriable attack in a chain would be the first attack.
1 encourages attacking since the others than the first wont be parriable
2 encourages feints because the first attack is the most important
3 reduces the op-ness of the parry
this doesnt need the lights to be made unparriable
this doesnt need the attack recovery reduced by 20%...
in these exceptions of course are the unblockable deflect and speciall moves like crushing counter etc
We're working on the parry system and we should have a PT in the works to introduce new parry updates to address the defense meta.
