Showdown glitch or hack?
Hi, strange problem when running a showdown. I get an opponent, racing, got all three tracks blue. The opponent raced and won all tracks. I raced the Wolf Den and got in front of my opponent, but look at the picture. I raced myself. The track is still red. How could it be like that?

Is it a glitch or a hack? I've seen it a couple of times. Just as those riders that flies away in the start... Not fun but what can you do about it - Idiots are everywhere...

Hi, I've been having the same problem starting from the last bunker. Sometimes it makes me race my ghost but the other players time was better, so because you beat your time doesn't mean that you won the track. Super annoying but i just try to remember what the other players time was and just try to beat that. Also sometimes even if the track was beaten by both of us, when i try to race again sometimes there wont be a ghost at all.

Hi Rogge66, thank you for sharing this with us. This does look like a bug in the game.
We’ll get back to you with updates on this.
Sorry for the trouble.

This glitch is months old too....

FYI, if you pay attention, you will see you are racing your own ghost. The trick is then to see how far behind your opponent you are, then you need to beat your own ghost by at least that amount.

I have the exact same problem as well.
the frequency this happens at showdowns is 1/4 (one out of four) opponents.
i noticed some of them play normally at first the track.when i beat their time,it says i.e. i won by -0.546.
when i return after some time i see that they have won the tracks always using one ticket( one try only).
after that no matter with how much difference i win ,i.e. most i' ve made is -2.436, i cant win.my new time goes to waste and the time difference shown is the same as before winning as well as the ghost is always the same as before.
this has happened with players who have lower upgraded bikes than me as well, (i can see that my bike is clearly more upgraded than the opponent's when i race his ghost) in which case my best record cannot be beaten with ease by a player with a lower upgraded bike (one ticket) .
this has occurred more than 10 times already to me, and i have never been able to win a track against these players.i'm not saying i'm top player but not even 1 track?seems odd.
i have also noticed that this happens with some specific bikes only : ( Tango - Mantis - KTM 500-EXC). for example this has never happened with Donkey bike.could be just a coincidence though.
Seems to me like those players just code themselves a win, unbeatable no matter what afterwards
Edit 24/10 :
I have more info from more encounters at showdowns of described issue and i agree with NOBBYHOBSON
i managed to pass some "stuck ghost" players at some point and won at the end.
hack/cheat was just a false impression.
Thanks for your time and info.

The same happened to me, exactly how xs82xs described.

This is just a variation of the current ghost glitch that's been prevalent over the last few months. I see that over time they are getting closer to fixing the problem.
The bikes used or the tier used has no effect on whether or not the glitch occurs. At first the server had problems even recording the first or second run on a track by either player, this seems to have been solved. Now it seems like a tracks 3rd or 4th winning run doesn't always get saved, this also combined with the rare time that a winning run doesn't count (less rare lately). Because of this sometimes you cannot trust the time or ghost but their time can still be beaten, unless the player is cheating.

similar issue
I am having a similar issue. I played all three tracks and posted a score. My opponent beat one of my scores. I then go back and do that race over. At the end of the race it says victory, yet when I get back to the track selection it still shows the opponents old time/score that I supposably just beat. Have about 3 hours left in the showdown. Hopefully this doesn't cause me to lose it.
