How about making A PVP Mode like Playerunknown's Battlegrounds

As we all know, Wildlands has a much bigger map size compared with Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. So, why don't Ubi studio extract one part of the whole map to be the filed. As well, there are planes and parachutes for players. It will be amazing if UBI makes a mode like Playerunknown's Battlegrounds for PVP. Considering the ability and limitation of PS4 and XBOXone, I think 16-24 players is okay, 2 players can make one squad competing with another 7 or 9 squads.

Honestly 24 players would have to be the limit for peer to peer servers

Also I think 6 squads of 4 could work

I also don't know if a battle royale mode would work but i'm willing to give it a shot

if epic can put together server of 100 player for fortnite battle royale i dont see why a big company full of money like ubisoft could not and on top of that with that huge map they already have they could put together more then one map which would be a first for any battle royale game out there and i have to say this for having try pugb and fortnite battle royale, fortnite is way more fun then pubg.

Interesting tidbit.... Zipper Interactive's game (MAG) for PS3 had the capability of supporting up to 256 player at a time.

The game you all want is already out there, it's called Arma 3, a gazzilion mods, massive player base, pvp, pve, survival, ballistics, tactics, vehicles, aircraft, submarines, boats. And yet I to sit here waiting for a miracle that will transport me back to the original days of GRAW 2, unlikely but i can dream, and if it don't pay off then back to Arma 3 Life ain't so bad after all. Oh nearly forgot Screw PUBG in GRW!

Yeah, there are several titles in the milsim genre that I would be playing right now if I was still building gaming PCs. .....many of us are console gamers though (~2/3 of Ubi's business).

Wildlands gave me hope that someone might actually launch a successful title and rejuvenate the genre for this platform. It was close but off the mark IMO. ......I still have hope though that they will continue further down that path (or at least someone will).

    Because of the AI?
Is it the NPC, Squad, and enemy behavior/AI//limitations that set the ceiling on what the engine is capable of? Where is the bottleneck?

no, i am a ps4 player, but you can feel some sort of lag of controller due to the fps drop when playing wildland on console.

that's because they are using peer to peer connection instead of dedicated server for wildland its cheaper for them but they can used dedicated se4rver if they wanted to they did it for for honor after a lot of complaint...

I think they should. I'm sure they can. They'd just have to up their servers. In fact i believe they will. Especially after XBOX X releases. GR:W has the potential and im sure they are taking notes of Battlegrounds success. However. I still don't like the whole 4V4 idea. It might work for Ghost War, but I have a feeling there will be alot of more game modes after they update pvp to the game. Just like recent Ghost Recon Advanced Wargfighter games. they had other different style pvp game modes. If they count only on Ghost War to revive the game then it will for a little while but then it will die out. Alot of PvP gamers such as myself not only like to play tactical but we like a nice little ground war as well
