I get that some people will see him as op and will disagree with this post. But as a rep 10 shinobi it is nearly impossible to play dominion, as anything more than a 1v1 means instant death. He has almost no health and it seems the only way to make him playable in 1v1's is to use his quad dash bug. I'm not going to give suggestions because there are many other posts about that, I just want to know if there are any buffs coming for this hero.

I can't say for certain what the team's plans for Shinobi are, but we do know there are common concerns with his health pool and as we're working on overall hero balancing I'm sure it's something they've discussed. Hopefully we have an update for you all soon on the progress and plans for hero balance.

Just a thought but maybe he could keep the ability to guard while dodging. I know it sounds crazy but it's such a small window anyway.
Or something similar to the superior block dodge of the kensei. But instead of a superior block it just blocks,

Small block while dodge already exists - it's called deflect, which is very strong in Shinobis case
That's not a good idea, because this block and the deflect will bite each other.

Just an example, the window where the superior block on Conqueros heavy attacks appear is very similar to the parry window, but harder to do than the parry.
The sup block on heavy attack is only good for his charged attack, which is ...
A: Not great because it is very predictable and every body stays away when he charges and runs out of stamina
B: The sup block is only useful when you hold it for a brief moment, to let the heavy count as an charged one but it would still do the 25 dmg from a normal heavy, and this timing is SO DAMN HARD TO DO, and a parry is worth 10000% more, or it is good for lucky moments where a second person attacks and hits the sup block randomly


Shinobi needs some attention, thats undeniable, but not much, because he is a good char in general.

To solve his 4v4 problems, I don't see any buffs that are possible without breaking him in 1v1, except revamp his feats to give him some advantage in situations where he is really weak.

Imho shinobi is just like every other assassin. Maybe only berserker can handle something more than a 1vs1 cause of his high dmg. PK is harder cause you can't even do the grab move against 2 or more enemies

Not really when you get the health regeneration it bridges the gap so he's still viable in 1 v 2 even more so if u got a handle of deflect just his health pool it is horrible

hey man, i always see you in dominion with LB i never saw you with shinobi XD...we are too low in PC so i start remeber the nick of people, and i remeber you XD

BTW, i think the problem for shinobi is the high use of stamina after every move and attacks...is right that is has to have low health, but it should be able to perform more attacks ..

You are correct, I do main LB so it is likely you will see me as that hero. The reason you dont see me play shinobi in 4v4 modes is because of his low health pool. It makes him very difficult to play if the team runs around in a gank squad.
