A way to read if player has set previous time
Okay, here's a thought I haven't seen posted, after going through all 20 odd pages in here, but I haven't started to build around it just yet.
I'm wondering if at the start of the track there can be a way to check if the rider has set a previous time, then change the track, or features I.e. controller button functions accordingly. Like if you place a bronze, you get a 1st tier reward/bonus, and so on so forth.
I know this place is dying a horrible slow death, and dignitas doesn't offer anything, not even paliative care, for internet forums, but as it's possible last gasp could anyone still lurking help me out?
Ideally, I would like to do it in a trials track, but have a skill game idea too.

Unfortunately no, it's not possible. I know that LittleBigPlanet 2 and 3 has a logic in the editor that let's you remember the states of certain things even when the player leaves the level. So for example if you play a level and collect an optional key in that level you can then reward the player in a different level for finding that key. Basically you're manually forcing the game to auto-save when the player grabs the key so that the game knows you have the key when you enter a different level. I'm using key as an example, could be literally anything.

Thanks for the reply
I kinda got that far on my own though, and have moved on to working out bike whips based on Luthanick's Project Spin in evo. I've got tutorials coming out this weekend to share my knowledge to the community
