I'm don't have much professional experience in this field, but from what I know, this will require extra coding that basically will tell the game "X tucked ankle pants model will be used when Y boots is equipped".Originally Posted by zTeeD Go to original post
Needless to say, they will have to update and add tucked ankle pants model to the game when the boots get added. Otherwise nothing will happen.
and can we get leg/thigh/calf protection to really go all out with the "Armored" look?
Itd be even cooler if "Armor" was actually modeled, rather then being just cosmetic. So, like if you hit my Chest armor, the damage is reduced 50%, while if you hit the crack between the armor, you get 100% damage. So, the more armored you are, the more protected, but slower, while the lighter guys get no protection but much more mobility.
Would be a nice dynamic.
I would love to see much more depth in the sequel to GRW including a revamp of the current damage model.Originally Posted by KnightGhostbear Go to original post
LOL, sequel? They want us to spend another 60 bucks in hopes that its better? ....... that.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post
Why not fix and improve the current game.....
Sequels are almost like revisiting a restaurant you had bad service at, only to be met with the same ........
Sadly, the damage modeling is a design choice and not a matter of a bug that needs to be fixed.Originally Posted by KnightGhostbear Go to original post
Would I love it if they did change it for the current game? ....hell ya. Do I think they will? ....I wouldn't bet on it.
The reality is that a change like this would require a lot of work. I really only see future changes being those that can utilize the current mechanics, fixing existing bugs, adding some content, etc.
