    PvP doubt

Ubisoft I have that feeling that PvP isn't going to be great. As long as I been a Ubisoft consumer and visit the forums or any community channel regarding a release of a closed to open beta over the years I use to see excitement in the channel. Last recent was For Honor and even this game. I use to hear and read individuals that played a closed beta stating it was great before the open beta or actual game came out. Of course, not giving any info on the beta but state it was really good. I have yet to hear one person on the forums that said the closed beta was great and is looking forward to the open beta. So far those that semi spoke about the beta said it wasn't all that. Not sure how to take that since I didn't physically try the beta. So I have my doubts is it really good. Is it just only one mode you spent all this time trying to make. Hope you include a mode like conflict from future soldier. You been in silence for too long. Your considered one of the largest companies in Europe. I mean are you not sure what to tell us that you making changes as we speak. We all know you have a history of revealing something and when launch it's totally different.

Is that why you not speaking so you give us what you want to show? I just saying you have over 50% of your customers losing faith not only in this product but the franchise itself. This move you guys made can really change sales for your games going forward. The Division not having all the content since revealed in it's released started doubt just like R6 Siege being without a campaign started another of being PvP only. Now Ghost Recon being the last resort has campaign but no PvP. See how the trend is from false content>no campaign>no PvP. These are your top shooters.

Honestly, life would've been a lot easier if you guys made future soldier backwards compatible and not remove Ghost Recon Phantoms. You really took PvP away while trying to make us wait for PvP on here. You not talking with community or showing progress. You didn't even respond to the votes of backwards compatible titles for future soldier. This been the worst experience. Got a feeling if PvP isn't good I may just retire from video games because Ubisoft kept me and my wife going. Future Soldier was our longest playing Ubisoft title and the Division is reaching that mark but Wildlands is destroying that experience. I like the campaign but I missed that online experience when I use to go in a PvP lobby and meet different people back to back. You guys took it to the next level on Xbox 360 when you release GRAW2 and kept improving with future soldier.

Now you just all campaign the solo to 4 player co-op. It's like I'm playing offline on a franchise that was big with online. Every time I look on the back of my case cover of a game the player count reduce. Are you really scared of your competition with COD and BF. They literally copy you and yet they still bring the old modes while creating new ones to they community. You guys use to have the best openings of your games. GRAW2 had the opening of taken down a chopper and running thru the battlefield and Future Soldier had that cool music with video when the go camo, jumping out of space, over cars,etc... It pump my blood every time when I turn it on and company use to come over and be like what is that. That look tight. I be like it's Ghost Recon you should get it and tell your friends. Wildlands don't even pump my blood. It's a script outside of the campaign itself. I show people this and they be like you sure this is Ghost Recon. I be like yea you can drive around, take on missions. They be like oh ok. Where's the PvP . See what happen was the PvP didn't launch yet. They ask why I give the same info you give me as if I lying to them. I say "There's no news on PvP at this time ". They even ask is going to have the conflict mode. Idk Ubisoft just not talking for some reason. They acting brand new. Then here comes the sound questions. "Is your volume turned down".Where the explosions or firefights don't sound like a war zone like future soldier when you hear different explosions by every distance far away. Everything seem dull. If you guys fired any people are your predecessors hire them back. For five years of making a game it feel as if you guys focus on the wrong thing. Don't be an underdog anymore. Step Ubi

I find it pretty odd that Ubi is going to make PVP a tiny little TDM, after they went and made this HUGE map. Seems to me like they should make PVP more like Planetside 2, with each side vying for control of the country.

You would have Unidad/Cartel/Rebels, each with a home base of sorts and the players go out fighting for control of the territories, Planetside 2 style.

I was definitely thinking, with the space that's been provided, that the battlegrounds and match types would be somewhat exotic, and or big.
From what I've seen it looks like 3rd person copy-paste shooter with a few tactical elements. (Maybe not, they've kept it way too secret.)
There's room for it to grow and be something great.
    4v4 is a joke, imo.

If you mean playable on PS4, that would technically be forward compatible, not backwards. But the issue of backwards compatibility is primarily a hardware one. Sony simply didn't design the PS4 to be compatible with PS3 games, something UbiSoft has no control over. And even if PS4 was designed with PS3 backwards compatibility, that doesn't mean online play would be supported, so chances are you'd just have another GR game with no PvP.

Never mind that Future Soldier was released about a year and a half before PS4.

Tell me about. All they have to do is take advantage of the map and throw in some old school modes because at the end of the day we change the game. No need to try hard to make it tactical. Give us what we want and we play what you give us. Meet us halfway Ubi

Are you sure you quoted the right post? Just asking, because none of that is actually a response to anything I said.

I feel your pain bro, i can promise you the Community Devs & Managers for Ghost Recon know how the PVP community feels.
I sometimes go on rants about the lack of intel and radio silence.
We have to believe in them, because I know they care about the PVP community as much as they care about PVE community.

    BTW bro:
Future Soldier just in the last few days broke 18,000 vote ups for backwards compatibility.
    We can still dream..right?

I hear ya. 18,000 is a big number. If PvP goes well in Wildlands those number of people will help the community grow and put more support for the game

They should just scrap it and start working on GRW2 and factor in pvp from the beginning. The current game is not pvp friendly in anyway. Starting from weapons balance, to engine, to netcode this game is not even close to be pvp viable, and the effort needed to make it that way is that huge, it will never pay off.
Instead of making this game something it never was, they should have polished the coop mode and call it day. But here we are, talking about pvp for a game that was never designed to have it, costing resources that are now missing in coop and will ultimately fail anyway.

If they would have put those resources into solo/coop and polished that gamemode, they might have satisfied people enough to sell another DLC. But what do i know, im not one of those masterminds at ubiHQ.

meanwhile GTA has toggable night vision googles and turns out to be the more tactical shooter lmfao.
