Where is everybody, where are all the creators? Why are the 48hr feeds and whatnot filled with utter trash? This place was really busy in the evo days, but now theres barely a post every three days, across all the RL forums.
Has everybody moved on to something else? Admittedly I've been out the loop for a few years, mainly due to cash flow and whatnot, but seriously, has the community just went somewhere else? Point me in the direction they ran, I'll chase...
On a true fan level...for sure. However, for sales for the next title...their lack of communication will have zero impact. If it did.., they would focus on it. We all know there's no need to be hush about a niche game with zero competition.Originally Posted by AM0RPHOUS Go to original post
It's nice to see gratitude on either end, but this hasn't happened in years. Its odd to me really. If someone supported my creations for years...and I could do a little something for them...I gladly would. But that's just me and my name is even "Trash". Just sayin.
It's disheartening to see with a talented and inspiring community always creating. I wonder if the next game is on hold? It's possible. Judging by the past patterns.
I'm kinda bummed myself. I've been playing Trials very regularly for the over 3 years and the community has always been great, but I think we're all ready for something new, some announcements or news or something. Things are getting stale. Seems to me it would've been better to strike while the fire was hot, because it's going cold now. I'm still holding out, but trials is becoming less and less of a thing for me, there's so many other games to play.
Exactly how I feel. I've been hanging out for years, waiting for a crumb of information about the new game. I use to play Trials multiple times daily. Now it's maybe once a day, or a few times a week. I've moved onto other games lately, & have started to loose my interest in Trials. Not because I don't love the game anymore, but because I have lost my faith & trust in Red Lynx, & their ability to communicate with the community, & keep us informed on new developments.Originally Posted by stooksman Go to original post
Does anyone wish that the builders in the community and maybe past employees who know what goes into making these games could come together and make a game to compete with Trials? They can't have a lock on this type of game. I believe the TC builders would give us a better game. Wishful thinking I guess. Hey maybe they'll give us a release date at E3 2025!!
I like this idea. Unfortunately, we may be a few million short to compete. Aside from my lack of knowledge in programming and no experience at all...I think this would be right up my alley.
I would take Gsatchmo and 397 on Xbox to start. Maybe take on Kalzonne and Twitchy with a nice 10% raise. Maatus would be my next pick for coding and Swampballs. The company would be based in Lalaland, NV. No state income tax and party girls for all. We would take company trips to California for moral and enjoy fine women and weather.
I’m starting to think that the reason there is no news is...there is literally, no news. Maybe the project got bumped or just isn’t happening. It’s a possibility. They may be trying something new instead.
Blood Dragon: The Return.
Well the answer to this question is simple. Games With Gold. Over 3 million people got the game for free last month. That's a lot of people 'testing' the editor real quick. Over time TC will get back to normal. New players will start dropping off when they get to the Hard/Extreme tracks and before you know it only the dedicated players are left, those players that want to learn and get good with the editor. Who knows, maybe the next Swampballs or Kalzzone is among them.Originally Posted by I_GETHSEMANE_I Go to original post
But yeah, the lack of info on the next Trials is definitely a concern. No news is not good news I think. If nothing gets announced before the end of the year then I fear the worst.
