Hi Johan, So basically what you are saying is that you know that there are still cheaters that are using the glitch but you (not you personally) don't feel you need to ban these players, giving them a second chance to be caught for usage of an other cheat to give them the 1st strike (before a permanent ban).Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
I am really glad you did the first wave ban, but these bans should continue for all that used the glitch even after the glitch is fixed.
Another ban wave against RPM glitchers was performed yesterday on all platforms.
We will perform additional waves as needed until the fix can be deployed.
I can understand that's the impression you got, but no that is not what we were saying at all. Of course we feel that offenders should be banned. We were simply monitoring what effect our initial ban wave had on the usage to decide if another ban wave was necessary. We performed an additional ban wave yesterday and will perform more as required.Originally Posted by LotusOverdose Go to original post

The problem lies in the fact that players who were abusing the glitch didn't get banned in the first wave so simply carried on regardless. If they don't get banned in this second wave they will still continue. These backend tools, if they really do exist, should have caught all abusers and all abusers should have received the 14 day ban. Cherry picking doesn't work and isn't fair.
I don't know why they didn't just implement a temporary hot fix that disables loadouts. Problem with glitches would instantly be solved until an actual fix is done.
Have only experience a glitcher once in Last Stand and boy was it annoying, dude was running around with an MP7 that was firing so fast the audio wasn't even being registered, he saw you and you died almost instantly. Left the match after the second time I got melted @.@
Damn Xbox Recent Players List wont freaking update so I haven't been able to report him yet unfortunately
I'm afraid it isn't as simple as altering a few lines of code to disable a feature, if it was that easy we would have done it.Originally Posted by MrFuddyDuddy Go to original post
We are working hard to get the fix out as soon as possible, it is the highest priority for us right now.

@Ubi-Johan I can understand that there is a client side patch that is necessary for consoles. The part that is difficult is that people are still doing the exploit/glitch. There is no evident reason for anyone to stop using it in the mean time. All that I have heard is that a few PC players have been banned as a result of using this exploit/glitch. There is nothing happening on consoles. Trying to enjoy the game is rough at this point. It feels kinda like 1.3, with Striker Shotty, all over again. With the latest latency issues its even harder to identify if you are instantly melted as a result of the "RPM glitch" or just lag. Either way, there needs to be something more than just threats of banning. Playership is evidently being affected as a result of this as well as the release of other titles. I even found myself looking for a new game in the Xbox store after an hour of switching servers to avoid people using this exploit. Each server that I changed to there were multiple groups of people using this. I once had the confidence that cheaters will eventually be subjected to a reasonable penalty as a result of this exploit. Not so much now. There were a couple of days that things eased up but, that quickly faded. It is also nearly impossible to upload a video clip worthy to report someone to be investigated. Not much you can edit down to fit the upload size cap.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
I sincerely hope that things get fixed as soon as possible. In the mean time, not a great idea to let things affect those of us that refuse to participate in this exploit. BTW: I still think that everyone exploiting this glitch should be banned during the next Global Even. Make this as substantial a punishment as the players that haven't used this exploit have had to endure.
yesterday me and one of my friends group taked the decition to enter the dark zone, so i make a teleport to the dark zone entrance.
Next, i forgot to change the loadout to my pvp gear, so i changed the gear, put the mods i miss from the loadout, take the restock of bullets.
When you are full of everithing the vault say "you are full" but it didnt.
It say "open again" and i was like WTF?
And then, i open the "inventory" and i note my loadout was on empty.
I say to myself "oke, press F"... and nothing, enter to the loadout screen, subscribe my loadout, and the system let me do it but the loadout was even bugged, so... ill enter to the dark zone shoot to the truck and noted something weird, then i was with 101 bullets and then 65, i change the magazine and again 101 to insta 65, and the system let me change the magazine again (weird ****)
so i leave the dark zone to the light zone entrance, and was the same ****.
I open my loadout, change to my other pve loadout and problem solved.
So, i mean, someone of you admin or mods, can check if this is the begining of the rpm problem? coz if im correct, that is where this problem start (is just what i thought)
I dont have the best English, im from Argentina, sorry
We have performed two ban waves on all three platforms, a large number of offenders has been banned and we will perform additional ban waves as we see fit until we can deploy the fix.Originally Posted by MesserStescher Go to original post

IVe noticed the difference on PS4 Johan, keep banning, still running into them but its definitely been less frequent the last 5 days or so.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
