Yes, the "RPM" glitch is more than just that. It is a mod glitch and that is probably why those people are hard to kill.Originally Posted by mongesar Go to original post
Sorry, I just find this response or policy stance to be condescending. When "we feel....is needed" implies that our (Community) concerns are under-valued and that our request to implement some robust anti-cheat measures do not warrant serious consideration.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
Now I'm not trying to single you out, but I've seen similar Massive-Ubi responses when the community is searching for more decisive actions against players that are exploiting hacks or glitches or address some of the lag that favors the few at the expense of the enjoyment of many.
Well if they can't do something then they need to shut their mouths and let everyone do it without consequence till they get the fix in place.Originally Posted by TUGG3ER Go to original post
problem with the health stack is its hard to verify compared to the rpm. if a player is health stacking most players can't tell the difference, on top of that if your in ls you can shot someone down and take more damage if you don't burst them down because their team mate can be shoting you with out your knowledge. but you're right it is a load out problem thats why massive is taking so long with the fix, most players complain about the rpm but capping that will not fix the actual problem.Originally Posted by mongesar Go to original post
I thought it was part of the same glitch. It just depends on where they stack the mods they are using.Originally Posted by mongesar Go to original post
You can do every mod on your character at once.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
I just find it funny people want to argue what we name it. lolOriginally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
sure, in my experience it is often the case i see hackers who have dialled their hacks into max, not trying to hide it and on every night for up to 2 weeks then they are gone and then the legit players start trickling back in before its cool again.Originally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
but i do not believe ubi can detect a toggled aimbot or passive hacks such as wallhack, ubi can only detect and ban the low hanging fruit.
I would have preferred a 30 day time out personally with a second offence as a perma ban. When you go soft on cheaters it only hurts the credibility of the company who manages the game.Originally Posted by Ubi-Johan Go to original post
I must be one of the low hanging fruit. My partner and I don't normally use any "additives" when playing the game but all this talk about the rpm glitch, we thought we would see what all the fuss was about. We went into the DZ to try and get a couple of simple commendations for something to do, stayed away from other players and just killed a couple of bosses. Boom we`re banned. I know they`re within their rights to do this but come on, compared to the proper hackers and the "unkillable" rogues is it worth banning a couple of noob players?
