Dodge doesn't really work, deflect does not work at all, deep gouge sometimes works, and feint to guard break NEVER WORKED. Her strikes are off timing now, and it has become hard to block attacks.
Please fix peacekeeper, it's maddening. Also PLEASE STOP COMPLETELY CHAMGING THE GAME ALL THE TIME- that's annoying.
Platform is Xbox. Thank you.
So I've really been looking into this, and I still stand by the statement that feint/GB NEVER WORKED. However, just today I've been getting mixed experiences with this character. Sometimes she's worked like a proper girl, and lots of the action I complained about above. In brawl, Duel, or even Dominion... I hate to say it, but is it just a connection thing really? I thought dedicated servers were brought in, and yet there are still many complaining about PTP connection; what's the story with the servers and Xbox platform?
It's just odd that if there WERE servers the gameplay would be so inconsistent, but it is that way.
I have similar problems on PC with PK. Maybe its my connection or the opp's connection but the game feels very clunky lately and I'm not a huge fan of it. Dedicated servers cannot get here soon enough. So many times I'm seeing blood and hearing hits but also seeing block sparks and hearing block noises? im getting animations for hits and blocks and its hard to tell what is actually happening.
Dedicated servers are in fact being brought to For Honor. However, this will take some time as the game's network architecture has to be altered in order to support the servers. As for problems with the Peacekeeper, the problems you're having may be connection based, but it may also help if you could upload gameplay of the combos you are trying to pull off. There are many Peacekeeper players here on the forums and I'm sure if you made a thread asking for advice on how best to player her, people would be more than willing to critique and offer advice on your gameplay.Originally Posted by verifun Go to original post
Well Ubi, I do appreciate your reply and now I understand the deal. It actually is kind of a relief because I know that will change.
I don't know how to post video from Xbox, and the recording of the footage is kind of basic as far as their interface goes so since I've a feeling it's mostly connection oriented(except for GB/feint) I'll let it go. Besides, people are more than happy to critique my play online with all the group tea bagging they do so I've enough of that. Good luck in your development of a solution!
