hijacking extraction can be done by anyone, if they change that it would be a mistake on their part. sneaking up on someone and throwing a grenade on a solo player as a 4man group is cheesy. i have played this game long enough to tell you most of my experience is pvp. i enjoy it as much as it is broken. the biggest problem i see is that now with ff off it is going to make it less desirable for solo rogues as now the whole server will show up. another problem i see is the grenade spam is going to be an issues and abused as stagger is still a thing, which i have stated before it shouldn't be in pvp. it is a highly broken mechanic that has been abused since day one. with the system i would rather start off rogue as a faction in the game and a conceal pulse hides you if you know how to play the game. i just dont like how they are incentivize most aganets never to go rogue and just be rogue hunters, if this will be the case have them also loose as much a rogue agent. lets go back to 1.3 where you lost dz credits, keys and xp on both sides. its the dark zone its a risk to go in. if you dont want to loose anything stay in the lz.

There has never been an incentive to go Rogue in DZ apart from being a d*ck.

All gear is permanent. All gear is mostly available everywhere. DZ as a loot source died almost a year ago. Hell it died as soon as people claimed they were min/max. Because that's what it boils down to - the DZs only supposed threat EVER was losing stuff and there is nothing to lose.

People don't like the DZ because for the few things you can do there, you still get interrupted and interfered with by bored kiddos.

Nobody can claim that the DZ is a "harsh place", "full of dangers". They'd be talking in a metaphorical context. The reality is that from a PvP PoV it's just a kill on sight arena. From a PvE PoV it's hide and seek where you try to farm mobs whilst avoiding ****heads. But once you die, there is no way to get out of the death loop. You spawn in predictable places, you are predictable to find, and there is nothing you can do to discourage Rogues because they have nothing worth keeping to lose. And when you beat them, you are only giving them the fight they want.

TL;DR there is nothing to want in DZ apart from a mindless shoot-em-up arcade.

Yeah, we would hate a game where everyone can play and enjoy the game, without PvP ganking glitch users who want to brag about how great they are. Thanks for setting the mood.

Sounds like you haven't been in the dz for a while because atm it's the best source for classys and going rogue /hijacking extractions has never been more worth it than it is now. I've got plenty of Classys off other agents in the dz

https://youtu.be/mC2V1kxnpBU the division has always been that the dz is about pvp at the end, the game was suppose to make you worry about the dz. yeah its gotten to the point were massive has mess things up with allowing chicken dance and legacy bugs like heal delay. but when in the dz you should be worried not just about the tougher npc, but also about the agents that are around you. and @sandpants like stated in th edz there is clssy gear and exotics to get from players, its a way to farm also. most players who i have meet will keep coming out to fight rogues cause their ego got hurt. if you worry most rogues will move on after a few mins cause they want to reach manhunt if you wait they leave( thats how i play).

Surely the simplest solution would purely be to just have a gear pc/set the renders you invisible to rogues and/or other players. So you and your team to farm in peace. and vice versa won't allow you to rogue anyone while you are wearing it ... simple.

Just make it that if you are Rogue, you won't be able to call in an extraction
