I am hoping we hear something by Paris games week, this Joseph Seed guy I want to know more about him. I look into those dark eyes and see a horror movie - I see him as a Vaas beater here's hoping.

Yeah, PGW will hopefully be the catalyst for something, even a new trailer or some such. Far Cry's marketing is aligned with sony, so could be we get something from the playstation experience. PAX Aus and PAX south might also be events where I'd imagine something being shown. They do need to show something though right? There's not hardly been any new sort of information unveiled since E3, they've just shown the same thing over & over since then...

Simon is correct. And FC2 used a modified Cryengine. It has been iterated upon, theres been more 'middleware' introduced, like Speedtree, which has really made a different on the foliage from trees to the grass, New lighting, shaders, mist (primal) the list goes on.

But...its still Dunia. The bones are still there.

The changes in the online MP have nothing to do with the engine. They have to do with different Devs, ideas, programming, feasibility, etc

Sometimes theres just the wrong people for the job. Theres FC3/4/primal for ya.

Lets hope FC5 works out better. Lets hope we get to retain the FC4 sp ige capabilities and gain a more fc2 style mp (fingers crossed) but well see.

What does it hurt to ask for EVERYTHING lol

has not dunia been the engine for each far cry sence far cry 2
dishonored 2 had a engine called void but it was based on id tech 5
engines are re worked for every game to suit that titles specific needs
you can ask for everything but you should not expect to get everything you ask for

I don't play the MP because being on satellite internet won't allow me to. The county doesn't have DSL where I live.
