Not really, centurion is like the only S ranked character and my last name starts with Cent.Originally Posted by ATBallZ88 Go to original post
The Centurion is S ranked? Wow, people really suck at fighting him. The Centurion literally only shines in the gank scenario, unless you're good and know how to use him, which only applies to about 1% of the community. The other 99% are ganker spam scrubs who can't fight on their own and therefore never learn how to actually use the character. The Centurion is one of the easiest characters to beat 1v1 with his predictability, highly over-choreographed movements. The only time the Cent should even hit you at all is if he's ganking you or maybe on his initial light attack because it comes at you pretty fast. Other than that, the kick, the punch, the heavy pin, the standard heavy, all easily avoided and punished. If anything, MAYBE a level 3 Centurion bot should give you trouble, because bots have a whole list of functionality that players dont, and they can cheese their way to win when they feel like it. Other than that, if you're having trouble against anything but a level 3 Centurion bot or a top tier player who actually knows how to play the game, you just suck and need to get better at the game.Originally Posted by JuiceManDrew Go to original post
The wall is a deadly place against a ton of classes. The centurion is borderline garbage. He does have one good line of attacks that render most people useless until death. Just sit back block and parry until your opponent messes up, then chain. That's the only way centurions usually take me down. I'm pretty sure if I could modify my joystick to have a different pick up on direction for which way I want to parry/block. I'd survive more. I tend to hit left in and upward direction to guard that way but it goes into an top guard and that sucks for me.
